Why would someone kill those innocent Calderon Dolphins to prove their Adultery or to show the world that you are one of those grownup brainless civilians . There is one such BS thing(they call it Celebration) which is being followed in Feroe Island,Denmark.Teens in there thrive to exhibit their Maturity by Cruelly hunting dolphins which are on the edge of extinction. If you have got something to show to the world that you're the bravest or you got some guts then what stops you from fighting these carnivorous animals .... Lions,Tigers,Bears and poisonous snakes --- certainly i would laugh at their faces when i get to see fear creeping in their eyes. Dolphins are said to be really friendly and they seem to approach people to play around in the sea ---- NOT TO BE RIPPED APART WITH THOSE HOOKS.They have brains which can compete with that of an Human brain.Yet stupid enough to fall in the trap of these A$$holes who enjoy killing them. Well have a look at the picture --- You would see those dolphins leaving their last breathe in a pool of blood. What do you think about these Slaughters which are being followed every year in Denmark ???

It is sick to kill innocent dolphins. I am shocked to hear that a country as lovely as Denmark allowed people to kill dolphins by ripping them apart. It is nasty and it is not at all right for the people to call it a celebration. It is an awful sort of cruelty. When I was Western Australia at Monkey Mia dolphins were watched by travelers from all over the world. I was lucky enough to be picked to feed a dolphin. That was a magical experience for me. I took photos of the friendly dolphins. I traveled to New Zealand and on Christmas Day I went on a dolphin watching boat trip. To be able to swim with wild dolphins is an exiting experience. I saw the hector dolphin when I was traveling around the South Island. Again I went on a boat trip to watch the dolphins. Watching animals is a special thing to do. Killing animals is a sick thing to do. Dolphins are clever animals. Some people are stupid and cruel. In Denmark killing dolphins should not be allowed. I am vegan. I love animals.

I have seen Dolphins but not that close too. I see them swimming alongside the passenger ship I was on. Somehow seeing them gives me a boost of confidence because I know if the ship I'm riding sinks Dolphins would come to my rescue I love animals too and yes it's really hard to watch them die because of some stupid human activity

If Dolphins are even a fraction as smart as humans, then tell them to swim away, and not bite the hooks. "Adultery" is sleeping with another mans wife. You mean "adulthood".

Hiya sunny, No boy of that age needs to kill a Dolphin to prove he is a Man. Quite the opposite he needs to show he is a Man letting the Dolphins go letting them have their freedom ack that is how he proves he is a Man and a good Man. I would like to see their faces too if they had to kill say an African Lion or Lioness not that I want them to be killed either. Bet you they would run a mile not such big Men after all eh? I can´t believe that is what they do to prove they are a Man for goodness sake. I thought in Denmark they were more advanced in many ways? Well it seems I am wrong about what I thought about them. I thought they were intelligent not so now I have seen this.

Hiya sunny, I can just hear those kids howling all the way across the Jungle while the Lion is chasing them off. Yes they sure would be scared maybe it would make them think twice instead before bullying and killing defenseless animals. What an atrocity I could not bear to watch it or even think of it.

They would climb one of those big trees only to find one Chetaah awaiting them. These people sure need some psychiatric help...killing innocent animals does no good

It looks more of betraying those innocent dolphins who approach you to play around friendly --- little did they know that someone is awaiting them to stab them. Yeah they would be stay miles from those african lion's --- these so called teens would piss off when they hear lion's growling.

I remember seeing articles about that cruelty a few years ago. There was such and outcry about it I thought it had been stopped. What a disgrace to hear it is still being carried out. Shame, shame, shame.

The townsfolk who stand around and watch are just as bad. Are these people totally clueless...don't they know how beloved dolphins are? Even if they were not that is no reason to kill them

I do not want to watch that video. Those two legged animals that would hurt a dolphin need to be in jail forever (or fed to some bigger sea animal?) There is no excuse for that. By chance, I just saw a little dolphin playing in the ocean off the coast of San Diego day before yesterday. It was so awesome to see it jump out of the water and roll over.

Hi sunny! Have missed you and the gang! Say hi to them for me? Where are they? Mario, Saphy, Meluan, Vandana,.... Did you guys turn off my notify? As for this horrendous story, as Ocean Tiara said, haven't heard this story here and am extremely sick to hear it! Again, as OT said, we don't stand for this here in the USA! We have many Animal Cruelty Groups-ASACP, PETA, Human Society and more who would be on these disgusting Teens in a "NY Minute"! How can their own Country allow this to happen? What is wrong with the people there? Dolphins are loving creatures and don't attack, as you said go after an animal who can fight at least!

That is horrific news! I have never heard of this happening before in Denmark. I would have thought that they were more caring in that country! I have a Danish friend who is very much an environmentalist and I guess I just pictured them all being similar to her. Dolphins are amazing creatures that show a trust in humans that a lot of animals do not. It is extremely sad to hear of this type of thing happening.

For me, as long as they dont harm any other person/people, that is fine with me. The things they do maybe meaningless for us, but i believe if means a lot to them. To the Dolphin killers dont bother about KARMA (reincarnation) go on kill all that you can, you might end up a dolphin next time. NIce Day MR COOL

Happy Dolphin - Happy Dolphin, why would you hurt me?
This is very sad to read, I love dolphins they ae so therapeutic. If you really look at them while they are happily swimming around you can see how happy they really are. People who slaughter these poor happy fellas should be punished to the highest extent. The things we hear about killer Dolphins only exists in movies, not reality, so these cruel people have it all wrong, if by their way is there excuse. Ugh... Take a look at my happy dolphin picture, I love these beautiful guys if you will notice they seem to always have a smile, so why cruel people do these acts is well beyond me.

I really enjoy watching them hopping around in the pools and sea's --- quiet spectacular. Each and every Dolphin seems to be happy may be some thing is related to the shape of their mouth which looks like they're laughing.

I so wish this discussion had not come up! It was quite a long time ago that I came across this barbarity and the accompanying pixes in my mail…here you have uploaded only one pix… the mail I recd was a series on this barbaric tradition with graphic details…halfway thru the pixes, I actually got up from my seat…my head was reeling and I felt like puking…I was so aghast at all that blood and cruelty…now once again this has come up…I really have no words for this, so words are enough to condemn this act. Customs are meant to make better human beings…what is this trying to achieve in this age?

I could not even bear to watch this disgrace. Throughout the world we are raising generations of vicious, cruel, and violent children who become vicious, cruel, violent and inhmane adults. It is so sad. Scripture says we are given "dominion" over animals. Dominion also implies responsibility to care for them, not torture and destroy them.

I saw the pictures of those things that they did. And they are saying that it was a token of bravery, of manhood but they are killing helpless dolphins. If they really wanted to be known as brave then why dont they go for sharks? If they are really brave then swim with the sharks or piranhas or go to the wild with the crocodiles. I think they should stop that cause its a shame on their part its too G@Y!!!! I hope they know that.
