To Whom You Shall Believe, To Four Witness Or To Non Witness?

The first four books in the new testament, which was written by Matthew, Mark, Luke & John, are gospels, or history, and about our Lord Jesus. The four apostles are witnesses of what christ did during his time, they are christ's disciple, and with him wherever Jesus was. One thing you shall notice, the content of the first four books are almost the same, no contradiction. Now, there are people who do not believe christ and the bible, like the atheist, to whom you shall believe, to the four witnesses who saw christ in person or to the atheist that never ever seen christ?

There is a bit of a problem here. No one knows who wrote the first four books of the New Testament. They were written over a period of time and addressed to different audiences. It is certain that these books were not written by the four apostles whose name they claim nor were they written by eyewitnesses.

lotterylover can you direct me to some of this evidence. I have made a careful study of this and the more creditable biblical scholars all agree that the authorship of the four gospels is unknown.

Hi chiang mai boy, I don't understand what evidence you are looking for. Remember that most things in the Bible cannot be found in other books. You have to understand that the Bible itself tells the evidence. Let me emphasize some facts in the Bible, but let me first start with the question to you: Can you find a record from other books that there is somebody made the ocean, fish and all the creatures under the sea? Only the Bible have record on it. What do I mean? You cannot find any records of author except the Bible that telling it's God who made all things. Let me give a simple example: there is a chair made by a carpenter, but there is no record who is the carpenter who made the chair. Does it mean you won't believe the chair because you cannot find a records who made that chair? How fool you are? The chair itself is the evidence that there is a carpenter who made that. Now let's back to the Bible, It is illogical that the first four books in the new testament was written without the writer. Of course there is a writer, the Bible itself tells that it was written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. You must understand that the Bible was written through the commandments of the Lord (1 Corinthians 14:39)

Faith is not a perfect knowledge of things. If you have faith, you believe in things which are not seen but which are true.I know that Jesus Christ is true since there are witnesses who have seen Him and there are testimonies written in the scriptures that proves and manifests the truthfulness of His gospel.

To the christians, do you know that they look at the things which are not seen? Let's read it in II Corinthians 4:18 "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things that are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal"
