UPcoming Flicks

I didn't see Paranormal Activity 2 because as a general rule, sequels disappoint me. The Spiderman series was an exception, but most of the other superhero sequels I didn't like. My favorite movie of all time is the 1969 (or was it 1968?) Oliver! That is one genre I miss, the American musical. There has been rock operas but they are not the same. The High School Musicals were a bit disappointing, but I did like Highspray. I stopped watching violent movies as a general rule, Inception was the last one. So that is "No" for The Expendables (I hear I didn't miss much) Salt Machete and the like. The Other Guys was a comedy, so I did watch that one. Same with Scott Pilgrim Anything by Pixar I will see, because I was never disappointed. I have absolutely no desire in this week's releases. Maybe I will see The Last Airbender since it is in the discount theater, but I am not expecting greatness.

Right now, I'm interested in two movies. The new version of Jane Eyre (I love the book) which is coming out next year. Also, The King's Speech with Colin Firth. I doubt either of these movies will be blockbusters or anything, but the stories interest me. As for favorite movies of all time, I have so many I couldn't narrow them down. I like a lot of classic movies.

I know there'll be a 4th installment of spiderman. They said it's not gonna be Toby Magguire who'll be playing Peter Parker. It's going to be someone else. I'm also looking forward on the movie Thor and Captain America. They're also gonna make a movie about the whole Avengers and i think it'll be great.
