I guess not. Most of the people do not workout for their own physic and health. Any physical activity that would sweat you up is a good workout for your body. There are many easy ways that could be achieved. But we are so lazy to do that. Some very easy ways with enjoyment that could be done. The most simple way and most enjoyable ways is to dance on your favorite tracks. Now it does not need you to be a good dancer. Another way is to use stairs instead of lift where ever possible. Take a walk to nearby shop instead of taking your vehicle or asking for the shops door delivery service, along with physical activity you get time to think for yourself when you walk alone. While you take bath use water from bucket, instead of taking shower, will save much water and its a reasonable workout. There are many such activities in our day today life, if moderated a bit, they will bring a hell lot of difference in our lives and our health. Discover them. Wishing you all a better health. A better life.

Hi kartik, Yes these are the simple steps we can follow in our life without investing extra time. Definitely it needs patience; sadly people are always in hurry and doing the things in the shortest method available. Personally I do walk everyday morning and evening, not as an exercise but my daily routine demands the same. Physically I am active everyday except the office hours and I think this is enough for the good health.

Indeed, just got back from my 2nd workout today, this was 30 minutes on treadmill 410 cals, 2.60 miles.. I go 2 times a day now, im down about 60 over the past 14 months, I turn 41 on Sept 19th and I wanted to be off all perscriptions and down to my 10th grade high school weight of 210, I am 217 now, I do not think I will hit 217, but I am giving it my best shot, not only that I really do not think I was in this good of shape in 10th grade, however I still have a ways to go to be really fit, I think after getting 210 my next goal will be 190 where I think that would be a good weight to be. For guys over 30 I highly suggest getting your testosterone levels checked, if you are younger and obese, and or are diabetic definatly want to get your testosterone levels checked.. mine was almost as low as a womans, they put me on androgel.

Well, I work out for me, and for my physical health, and not for anyone else. I think that I need to keep myself healthy, and that is the main thing.

Yes. Before I was not working out for myself but for other poeple to see that I am fit but now its more of a health issue. I want to make sure as I grow older I am still fit and healthy. And it is still better if you are fit and still can wear your clothes very nice.

Not on a regular basis, but from time to time I would go out to the park and go jogging. Not exerting too much, just taking it easy, but giving the body sone relaxing excersize. I feel relaxed and refreshed after the jog. I do want to do that daily, but some days, I get back home from work pretty late. On such days, I just have to do some excersize at home to get rid of the stresses of the long day.

I agree with you, there are plenty of unconventional ways to "work out" and get into shape. I think eating is HUGE part of it, but besides that, you can work out just by taking your kid to the park, doing housework, playing with your children, etc. I personally like the more conventional form of working out: running, brisk walking, elliptical machines, gyms, etc, but that's just my personal preference!

I do some things to workout. It just allows me to unwind and relax, apart from the actual part of my physical health. There is just something relaxing about getting a light round of exercising, in addition to the obvious best. There is really a lot of benefits from a physical and a mental standpoint to say the least. The difference between a person who exercises, even if it is for fifteen minutes every other day, and a person who does not, it really is night and day. One think I enjoy doing is walking. Walking is something that is obviously a health benefit and also it saves a lot of money on gas as well. It might take a bit more time, but your body will be lighter and your wallet will be a lot heavier, instead of the other way around. So yeah, a bit of exercise can go a long way a lot of the time.

I don't really like to workout, I do it every now and then, but not regularly. I like to play football instead, but I have less and less opportunities to do it. I go to University by foot, not by bus or car, and I usually walk a lot. But this doesn't help me very much, I have a few kilos that are extra. I think regular workout is the best solution for a fit body, but I don't like to do those difficult exercises. Of course, what you say won't harm us, they are good, but if somebody wants a very defined body, than he has to workout.

I workout for myself. I love the feeling I get after I've finished exercise where I feel light. I usually allot 1 hour of my time in the morning for workout. I love doing cardio workouts because it's fun. I just wish that more people will workout because they are concerned for their health and not because they are concerned about what other people might think with their figures. I think working out will be so much easier if that's the case because they will not be pressured to lose weight fast just to get that perfect figure.

I workout for myself. I like to walk, dance and swim. Those are the most enjoyable things to do for exercise to me. I haven't been swimming in a long time. I really need to get back into walking again. I plan to do that soon. I do dance some with my youngest daughter and her friends here at home. I also have a stationary bike that is just sitting there. I need to get active on it again. This summer was so hot and humid where I live that I didn't get out as much. Now that it is cooler, I have been getting outside more. I have started washing my dishes more than I use to. I wonder if I will lose any weight from doing that?
