Two years without work make me think ways or create an idea that I think it can make me earn. One thing I thought is to open a beggar website or blog. A simple one and its only function is to ask for donation...lolz... Do you think it will work? Hahaha.. I will give my address. They can send to me anything they want to send as long its legal. I will give to them my paypal account. They can send any amount they want. Do you think it will click? lolz. Or is it even allowed?

lol! I am not sure it's legal. However, people do some crazy stuff and like you I haven't worked in two years and I might try it if you find out it is profitable! lol!

That might not be too bad of an idea. I know that I have some friends who used to buy books and resale them online. they made a pretty penny here and there too! But the trouble would be like in my sending you the items, I would have to pay the postage.

That is another problem. The postage fee. I think the best way to send is snail mail. Slow and its worth less in fees. But problem is that the handling of of snail mail. Because I don't know if I receive it on good condition..lolz.

As long its not illegal either. I'm happy to open a site. My beggar site is simply not sad sorry effect. But rather more realistic. Donation. If you have more second hand goods that you want to throw away why not just send it to me then I will sell it. In that case you get rid of your things at same time you know someone is happy to receive your goods.

I do agree. But my site has a features. All the goods that I receive I will sell through ebay and other online selling network. Then what I earn in a month 10% I will donate in charity and 30% I will give to five lucky donors each month. The rest I will keep. But I will open to public how I used it and for what did I used it. They can tract if I did good for the money or not.

Sure... just make it a good story and people will give. There was a sort of famous beggar online a few years ago that wound up on TV! She raked in the money and made a lot of people mad, but I guess if you make a lot of money, you might not worry about how many people were offended!

Oh, I didn't mean to make up a good story, I just meant to write it in such a way as to compel people to send you money (or things, in your case). People do things like that. :)

yeah. that is true. good works can make a difference. Sometimes its not what you sell that counts but how you sell it. You can sell Icecream in Alaska and sell sands in Sahara. As long you know how to sell. lolz.

If I have a site I don't want to make up stories. I want to be as real as possible. My site if I open is simply simple. I accept donations. Goods and second hands Item. I will sold them through ebay. And I will give record how much I sold them. etc. If I get rich because of this then they know who or how did I get rich.

You are looking for the easy way out, and deep inside you would never be happy living off the avails of others. Instead of looking for a job, get up, get out, and make your own work. Some people clean cellars, and out-buildings. They do the work and haul away the trash, with no charge except, they get to keep the trash. (One person's Trash is another person's Treasure!) There are many hundreds of ways to earn an honest living working for yourself!

Why is asking for donation is not a honest living? I mean if you have something that is still good but you think you don't need it anymore and you ask them instead of throwing it away you send it to me and it can be use in good way. Instead of throwing it away and add up to another garbage collection.

If you have a great sob story or something that might work but most people would probably see it as a scam. I think there is already some beggar websites, I think I saw it on TV some time ago.

hahaha..But I'm not going to make up sad stories. Although mine is a sad stories. What I want is a site in where you can donate your used cloths etc. Every thing that you have that you think is garbage. You send it to me. Then I will sell it also online. Its like all the donation I will sell online.. So I don't have over heads but I can sell stuffs in ebay..hehehe

Then that would still be a scam technically because you are begging for free stuff then sell it on ebay. But if it turned successful your house or whatever place they will send it to will be flooded by random things and you will find yourself hoarding.

Do you know what the meaning of scam? And how came its scam techinically? Because scam happens when you misrepresentated yourself or the scheme that your promoting. But I never misrepresentated the scheme that I'm offering. In fact its an open book. At least they know what happen to their stuff. And secondly. Its a donation. I'm not begging. Read my post again. And understand it well. Asking for a donation and begging is not the same.

You can give it a try and let's see. But personally i don't think you can be considered a beggar because no one in the Philippines will fit that category, someone who claims to be a beggar and yet have access to the internet and maintains a website . But considering the intentions, i think you will be better than those who claim to give you unimaginable income in exchange for a small investment. I'm talking about the scammers. So far, i see nothing wrong in accepting donations in the internet.

You have a point there, a beggar doesn't necessarily mean that person is poor nor the poor necessarily mean a beggar. But a person can be both poor and a beggar at the same time and vice versa.

That is true. some poor does not beg for having a pride. Some that is enable and not really poor beg because they don't want to work or has no skills to find work... .. About a person can be both poor and a begger at the same time and vice versa. What exactly the vice versa of both poor and a begger? Being begger then poor? Or you have another thing in mind?

Theirs a difference between beggar and poor. beggar is a person who lives by asking for gifts. While poor is a state of poverty. Although I don't consider myself a poor person. Since right now I'm living in a three floors apartment. But with no income and with only creditcard to burn. I don't know how long I can afford to live like this. Right now We are 10 members in the house. And all of us except one has a work. So that how frustrating our situation right now.

I think your success on your plan depends entirely on the purpose as to why you are begging. If you want to beg just to enrich yourself, then likely you are going to fail. As you noticed, not so many people are fund of giving funds online. Often they would think of it as a scam and assuming that you prove to them that it's not a scam, less likely they will be inclined to give... You need to have some sad story behind for people to have pity and give. But if intend to build a donation site for the purpose of raising funds to help others, then there is a big chance it will succeed.

Its both. I want to earn.. not necessary to enrich and same time help others. But unlike others. I want to use the money to open or invest so that it can be sustainable and not solely to depend on donations.

Can you give me a like? I also want to see and maybe can imitate the site plan also. Although I really don't know if I can make it but for sure I can earn if I know or can create a good strategy.

I don't think you will last long with that. Even fundraisers of certain organizations are having difficulties searching for funding institutions online. Some may buy your story but only for a limited time. You have to create a very impressive and convincing blog to do that. And you have to be cyber popular, too. But, if you decide to do it, don't forget to keep us posted.

That is true. its really hard to look for online donors. Right now I decide to look for works and hope I can get one in the government. The salary is not high but at least its a good start. I'm just hoping that I can earn much online. Because right now I have hard time earning online.

if you are a type of person who is not choosy then i would say you can as we all say "beggars can not be choosers"
@bulastika (5966)

I'm not really choosy. In fact what I want to do is to buy and sell. So all the stuff that I get I will sell it.That how I want to earn my living from donation. And what I like I will keep but what I don't like I will sell. And the best part is that 30% of what I earn in a month will be given to five person who donate at that month. and another 10% will go to charity. the rest is mine.whohahahah.

I prefer to do online freelance rather than opening a site right now because of so many negative remarks. As this thread serve its purpose. Its lightened me to not to beg rather to strive.

hi , i think its very bad and you're very lazy . to think that you can go online means you have money , so why beg ?

The only person who is lazy in this thread is you. Since you don't spend time to read and understand what this thread is all about. Quote me that I will beg? And what is bad and lazy of opening a begger site? So you mean the church is also very bad and very lazy becuase they ask money from its members? And how about other institution who depends on donations? They are also very bad and very lazy?

Who would ever believe that you have no money? Getting online would need money and maintaining the website too. If you have the knowledge and the skills to put up a website they why not post your resume online instead.

I have tried that. But until now I'm not on luck to have a job. Right now I have no money in fact I'm on debt right now. I have three creditcards to burn. And that how I sustain myself. But sooner or later when my creditcard burned out. I have nothing. No job, no money. And a big case from creditcards institutions.
