What inexpensive things do you do to enjoy life?

My husband and I are on a tight budget and are having a tough time coming up with things to do that are inexpensive or free. So far, it seems to be limited to going to the beach and hiking area nature trails. So, what do you do for entertainment when money is tight?

The things money can't buy. Happiness, enjoyment in the family and staying here at mylot. We can all enjoy life without spending any penny. My husband and I talk a lot if things, even it's silly. My kid and I always watch and study together. That's how I enjoy life the inexpensive way.

We use to live near a beach and would g there often. Now we don't live near one and it gets cold here so it's real boring. This summer I spent a few nights in the part with my lying ex who I am over with now. LOL yeah right. But,it was rather nice to just sit out there and have a drink and talk.

Now Hatley, I just moved from So Cal to Washington state and I wish that I knew about Charly's chili before I left. Sounds like a good reason to go back for a visit to Newport.

I also like going to the beach, as well as to the park. Playing boardgames can actually be a lot of fun, even as an adult. And as a girl, I love trying to make spa and facial treatments using ingredients I have in the kitchen. It sounds weird, but some of them really work and I have great fun making them!

I forgot about homemade facials. Sounds like a fun activity for a girls night. Great suggestion.

Thank you for responding. We've had library cards for years but I'm embarrassed to say that we never really took advantage of it. I was surprised to learn that our library even has film nights. Great suggestion.

Hiking and nature trails is our thing here too. We might go to a festival or something like that sometimes though. Watching movies is nice to do together when we can find one that we both like. We also play cards online..lol.
