Why it is hard to achieve the desired weight? That's the common question and comment I heard from my friends. I regularly see them doing exercise but still their weight are the same.. I think they are gaining more than loosing weight.

Losing weight isn't difficult if you have the right strategy.. You gotta stimulate body metabolism to burn fat easily and efficiently.. Eat every 3 hours in less quantities with due care to balanced diet. Avoid saturated fats (simply avoid junk foods) Reduce salt & sugar, drink green tea. exercise moderately.. You would observe a perceptible change in 21 days itself.. Good Luck!

I believe that the reason so many people today have trouble losing weight is for a variety of reasons. One is all the fast and ready foods we have available today, an entire meal in a bag that is ready to serve in five minutes! These foods are loaded with additives not only to make the food look better but to tase better as well. They are unhealthy for our bodies and are known to contain high trans fats, which can lead to obesity and heart problems. Yet people still use them, why? Because in this busy world of ours they are more convient, faster which means we have more time for other activities. Adding to this factor is all the gadgets that are available today, computers, game systems, ect., all very additive and very time consuming. The time we use to spend walking, going to the park, riding a bike has been cut in half by these activities. Some never bother with any type of physical exercise at all because they are too busy computing or gaming!

Hi Wordjunkie. I do agree with you. It's very hard to reduce weight because of the factors that you said. And not only that, no exercise at all, wasn't able to burn the fats in the body.. Always in front of computer.. It's better to change the daily routine from now on... HAPPY MYLOTTING!

It takes a lot of commitment, determination, and will power. And that's what it seems to come down to - not everyone is willing or able to put all of that effort toward being healthy and losing weight, and that's why they fail. Mainly the will power part.

Maybe you belong to the category of people with naturally higher metabolism. Not all people have the same genes, habits, teenage history, psychology, needs etc. I have found myself very easy to loose weight for example but it is difficult for me to gain weight in muscle which means it is difficult for me to achieve the desired weight because of my high standards and lack of appropriate factors to gain weight. If you find this strange consider the following : There was a time in history when women where considered more attractive if they where fat! Lots of thin, fit and sexy women where actually considered ugly back then and where trying to get fat but they couldn't even if they were eating all day...

They should include having a diet with their exercises. Maybe they are not eating. healthily. 80 percent diet and 20 percent exercise is the formula to losing weight. http://thefactorsinlosingweight.blogspot.com/
