True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, Twilight?

I am DYING for some company to discuss these shows.... so... do you watch any of them, all of them? I am a TVD addict, I have seen every episode, some more than once. I am very very behind on True Blood, so if you are up to date, try not to spoil the story line lol. I still am more in love with the Twilight books than the movies. The chemistry is not there with the characters.
If you've seen/read more than one, what's your favorite... why? I haven't read the True Blood books, I will say TVD books are nothing much like the show, the show is hot. I do not care for Elena in the books, and I think the freedom the show writers and producers took resulted in a much wider fan base.
Based on what I've seen and heard... I'm an Eric fan - I know Sookie isn't really 'with' Eric but who cares lol. I WAS a die hard Stefan fan and now I think I prefer Damon. Edward all the way still... sorry Jacob.

Well, I must admit that I'm not into True Blood and I'm not into The Vampire Diaries. However, I've been into Twilight for quite some time. I'm a bigger fan of the books than the movies, but the movies are okay because though they are well made, there really is something that is missing. I like Edward a lot but if I had to make a choice between Edward and Jacob, I really don't know what I would decide because I love having a warm body next to me.

I started watching True Blood late. I'm not really catching up there because I am entranced by TVD every Thursday! I haven't seemed to notice the guys have a temp problem in TVD, nobody has complained about them being cold at all lol.
I know personally it would be hard for me to deal with.. the cold part especially because I tend to need a heater as soon as the weather cools off, and I also know from being a frequent camper when I was younger, the best way to warm up is NOT to be layered in clothes... but if the other person is cold, that doesn't do it. I don't think I'd want to be bitten all to hell either, it just doesn't sound appealing. Sooo, I don't know.

I haven't read any True Blood, Twilight, or The Vampire Diaries books. However, I have seen 2 of the 3 Twilight movies (I plan to see Eclipse when it comes on DVD next month), every episode of The Vampire Diaries, and seasons 1 and 2 of True Blood (I don't have HBO, so I have to wait until next summer to rent the 3rd season).
I know your discussion is three weeks old, but I'm hoping you'd still like to talk about these. I love the shows and the Twilight movies are really good too. I'm definitely an Edward gal, without a doubt. I was an Eric/Sookie fan, but I'd actually rather see her with that hunky Alcide now. And although for the first time in two seasons I really like Stefan and Elena, I'd much rather see her with Damon. But I am so sick of this Katherine stuff right now! I seriously hope they don't drag this out all season long.

I must say I'm not that into the Vampire Diaries, but I have follwed the other two series pretty obsessively in the past, lol.
I've read all but the newest of the books True Blood is based on and I've read all the Twilight books. I've seen all three Twilight movies, but only about 5 episodes of True Blood.
I really love the True Blood books- I think the show is quite different from the books. I think I like Eric as one of my favorites as well.
And in terms of Twilight, I'm all for Edward, too. Idk, the wolfpack is just too cocky and show-offy.

I have all the Twilight books... I love em. I bought the Vampire Diaries books AFTER I started watching the show and seriously, Elena is a stuck up b*tch in the books. I really don't see anybody liking her at all in them, even her friends, and Stefan lol.
I'm planning to watch the rest of True Blood and catch up, but it's going to take awhile. I'm pretty obsessive of Thursdays on the CW...(for TVD) I record in the evening and usually watch the ep the next day after the kids are at school.
If not for Edward, I would probably love Jake. I dunno what it is about him, he's not 'right' for Bella no matter how much he thinks he is!

Me I Love The VD Books Too,Because There Is More About Damon & Elena...Yes I Prefer This Couple,Because They Love Is Electric,Very Romantic & Sometimes Very Sad...Damon Is More Hotter Than Stefan..Stefan is Like Edward & Damon is a Powerful Guy...He Take Care & Save Elena Against The World & Stefan Don't...Is Like If Elena Wants...Let It Like She Wants...Too Weak!!!

I honestly can't choose between The Vampire Diaries and True Blood, they are both great shows, I have all the DVDs. I used to love Twilight but it doesn't do anything for me anymore as I find it too soft.
