How do you feel about driving?

I got my license when I was sixteen and have driven ever since until I became traumatized of it. Do you enjoy driving or do you just do it for transportation... just because you need to get somewhere? Do you think it is dangerous or scary at times?

I'm terrified of driving. I'm 34 and I still don't own a car because I'd rather walk or take the bus. Seriously! I would rather walk across town than get on a freeway!

I hate driving now too.. but I don't really like being exposed when I'm walking or on the public transportation... so either way, it sucks for me. :/

I like public transportation except that I don't like sitting by strangers. Some people are really creepy!

I am starting to hate driving a car now all thanks to the people who think that they own the roads. I mean how many time have they used the indicators the change lane or turn into a side road?

It terrifies me to drive with reckless drivers.

I have been driving for almost 16 years and I drive more to get where I need to go rather than for enjoyment. I can't say that I dislike driving, but ever since I got my license, it seems as if I am the only one that has one. This leaves me feeling like the family and extended family taxi-driver so often that I often times just don't even feel like driving anywhere. I do feel that driving is dangerous at times, and I do not really enjoy driving on the Interstate at all. I am pretty content to stick to driving where and when it is necessary, and taking an occassional trip once in a great while.

You are very giving and considerate to do that for your family. Stay safe!

I HATE driving! I think it is dangerous and scary all the time! Of course, I have to drive (strictly to get somewhere, definitely not for enjoyment) in the Wash. D.C. metropolitan area which just earned the dubious distinction of having the worst drivers in the USA. DC drivers are 95.5% more likely to have an accident than the rest of the country. (Nearby Baltimore, MD ranked 2nd.) Oh yeah, I really enjoy playing Russian Traffic Roulette out there on the Beltway. I have been driving for 40+ years and if it were possible, I would never get behind the wheel of a vehicle again. Unfortunately, this country runs on tires and gas.

I hate driving too!! I wish we didn't have to but then again, I wouldn't feel save going on a train with a bunch of strangers too. :/

I was enrolled in a driving school when I was 18 years old. However, I was not really able to apply my driving lessons because I failed to overcome my fear. My parents understood my situation despite of the money wasted in my driving school. I would still love to learn how to drive but I would prefer a car with an automatic transmission for easier driving. I find girls who know how to drive as smart ones. I am planning to pursue learning how to drive after my graduation. God bless!

I don't think it necessarily means that people are smart if they know how to drive, they just like adrenaline or don't know fear at all. I'm hate driving too, but in my country, we have to, to get to anywhere.. :/

I think it's exciting and scary at the same time.i don't get to drive often so it thrills me to grab a chance to drive my family.. And since I don't usually drive that's why it scares me every time and it scares them also, hahahadff....

I learned how to drive at the age of 11. Of course it's illegal in my country to drive at a very young age but I did that and it was fun for me then. But now that I'm 32, i drive only for transport and only when my husband is not around. Driving doesn't excite me the way it used to when I was younger. Even if I have a new car, I won't be driving it unless it's necessary to do so.

I love being able to drive myself whenever i want to go somewhere. I would much rather drive myself to places then take a bus or taxi. I also think that it is enjoying to drive. You can put some music on and have some alone time to yourself without anyone else distracting you.

I got also my license when I was sixteen. I enjoy both driving and transportation. I think it's scary at times.
