My niece, the hero

So, I thought I would share a really cute story with all of you here. My niece Alyie, who is 9, saved a lizard from our pool. She found the lizard floating in the pool, my dad was with her and said it was dead. Well, my niece got it out, put it on the ground and then started pushing on his belly. Well, the lizard woke up, coughed up some water and ran away into the bushes! My niece was so happy, and I just thought this was an amazing story! I'm so proud of her!!!

The most amazing part of your story, is that your niece is not afraid to touch lizards! I know of some little boys who themselves are afraid to see lizzards, let alone touch them. Bravo Alyie!

That is such a cute story! I am glad that she didn't listen to your dad. I'll bet she was awfully proud of herself too! I think she needs a lizard reviver medal or certificate of recognition. Or maybe a cake or special dessert in honor of her good deed!

That is a great story and I'll bet it's one your niece will remember for the rest of her life. Tell her "good on you" from your friend MsTickle, may she always be so thoughtful towards animals.

Ya, to tell the truth I was surprised she actually knew what to do. I had no clue she would know pressing it's stomach would save it! She does love animals, and she likes talking to me about helping out with the animal sanctuary I want to have some day. :)

She wants to help out with the animal sanctuary that I want to have some day. She is very excited about the possibility. I promised her she could visit every summer lol Thank you!
