What's the story behind YOUR Facebook profile pic?? I change mine like every other day.. but the one that I have up today is among my favorites. It is pretty recent.. having being taken right after I cut my hair. It is one of my favorites because I took the time to edit it and make it pretty!! Why did you select your particular pic to put up as your Facebook profile pic?? Do you have many likes or comments on it??

My FB profile picture is of a Charcoal drawing I did. It is of an Angel over looking earth. It has light coming from the sky. The drawing is called, "See The Light" I drew it about 3 years ago, it started out as a doodle and ended up being one of my favorite drawings I have done.

Oh and the picture I have here is of a Cherub that I have in my Strawberry garden. :)

That sounds pretty cool. I can't draw for nothing.. but my sister is pretty good at it. I'd love to see it.

Well, I needed a new Facebook picture, and I wanted to be wacky. I only change my profile picture every 5-6 months. I don't have any comments or likes on my picture.

Mine is the same as my pic here and i put it on because I love running track and it is a picture of me doing a hurdle. I have comments from people that are also on the track team.

That is a great picture!! It is amazing how you can do that. I could never imagine doing something like that. I have a friend on Facebook that runs track and the pic she sometimes uses as her profile pic is also amazing!! She has a pic up that is of her and all the many medals that she has won!!

My cat never liked his Pet Taxi,having learned to associate it with visits to the vet or to the cattery where I'd leave him when going on holiday..I can still remember the shocked look on his face when I handed him over at the cattery one time! Before he passed away,I was taking him to the vet as I was concerned about him losing weight,and as usual,he didn't want to go in,and I didn't have someone to help hold it while I got him in there..he climbed back out of it,and up my front as I was bent over,and sat on my back..having my camera phone to hand,I took the picture..so that's why my profile pic is half of my face in closeup with a cat on my back in the background...

I actually don't change my profile picture very often at all. The main reason that I don't change it is because of the fact that for some reason facebook really doesn't like to let me upload my pictures (they are too big). However, in January I did last change my profile picture to a picture of myself and one of my close friends that had just passed away as a memorial to her. She was a very special person and that is a tribute to her. I need to give in and upload another picture soon, but I haven't done it yet.

That is very sweet of you. I am sorry to hear that your friend has passed.. but that is an excellent way to remember her every time you see that picture..

Well, I have a one year old picture because I don't care a lot about the pic. I add to my friends only people I know in the "real world" so I think a decent picture should be enough. Moreover I'm not very good at doing pictures of myself so I would have to rest all the day to make a decent pic, so I've done a "manga version" of myself and...BAM! That's my pic :) By the way, I don't use facebook very much (When I first signed up I was curious so used it a lot, but after a while it became boring) because it's boooooooooring, it masks the way a person is, it devaluates the REAL value of a friendship etc... so I really don't care about facebook: I prefer to talk "eyes to eyes" with a person. Of course I'm talking about guys of my age that use facebook for stupid things like post 300 photos of theirself while they're pretending to kiss or post a stupid and cyclic link on my board every 30 seconds for the entire day etc... But I think Facebook is useful to contact people which are distant from you. Hoping to not be too Off Topic.

You are absolutely right.. Facebook somehow does tend to devalue real friendships because it eliminates the physical contact with other people. That is soo true!! I never really thought about it that way. I am on Facebook constantly... but that is because I have over 1500 friends... whom most I know in real life.. others I have played games online with. Everyone that I have ever met in life I have found on there. It's so crazy how technology can link everyone like that.. quite amazing. And, no you weren't off topic at all. Enjoyed reading your response!

honestly i don't like to put my photos in facebook.there is only one photo of myself in facebook that i use ahs my profile pic.i have taken it last year before i went to my morning class.i am not used of changing the profile pic as i love to stay with one picture at one time.

I know some people like that and I can say that it is pretty understandable with all of the privacy issues that Facebook has and the constant nagging of people to add you that you have never met in your life!! It's crazy..

I change my profile picture on Facebook every now and then but there is no real reason as to why I picked certain photos as my profile pictures. I don't really get many likes and comments to my profile pic as well, maybe it is not as popular as others :) I also don't like seeing my profile picture blank because it looks ugly to me without any picture on it.

I hate that generic look too when you don't have a profile picture up. The one on MyLot that they use looks worse though lol. Don't say that.. just because your photo doesn't have many likes or comments doesn't make it "not popular". That is not the case at all.

I change my profile pic last week. Its a picture of me and my friends after our work. I posted it because I want everybody especially my friends that I already have a job and that I enjoyed it so much.

There is no story behind my profile picture on facebook. I have uploaded my own pictures on facebook. I think facebook is a very good site where we can talk to our friends by chat and also there are many good applications on facebook. So always enjoy facebook.

Yes, facebook in a short amount of time has become the virtual meetingplace for friends, family, co-workers, colleagues.. everyone!! I used to play games on there like Farmville, Hotel City, Social Star, Pot Farm, My Town and a few others... but now I don't really have the time to do any of that. I am on here mostly.
