I see that the Law & Order Brand is expanding. The newest edition is Law & Order L.A. Will you watch the new series, or has L&O outlived its appeal?

I do not even watch NCIS Los Angeles. They do not look like Navy investigators. So I would not watch Law and Order L.A. just as I do not watch Law and Order UK. My favorite La show is Law and Order Special Victims Unit as I sort of like the idea of going after criminals who hurt and abuse children. I used to like Law and Order Criminal Intent except that Goren got killed and that spoiled it all. It is the same with CSI when Grissom retired. That spoiled it all.

I never have even seen an episode of NCIS, and CSI was so dark that I only watched a couple of shows. I will give L&O L.A. a chance.

I liked the last episode of CSI New York where the wife of one of the CSI agents, she was also a CSI agent was saying that she was glad that they only had a baby girl because of a young man who reportedly killed his father and beat up his mother so badly she got brain damaged. In the end, it was proven that another man killed the parents and that the young man who was accused was really a loving son and he and his fiancée were now taking of his mother. So it showed that often the assumptions people have are often wrong. And I like CSI Miami because there is a lot of sun in it, but I do wonder how they could afford all that fancy equipment with a recession going on. I will see what that Law and Order LA is like, if it does not conflict with another show I am watched. Might have to wait for the reruns.

I hung in with the original til it was cancelled. I still watch SVU. I watched Criminal Intent until they dumped Vincent Donofio. I'll start back now that he's coming back for one last season. LA has been on for several months but I've yet to watch and don't feel inclined to watch. BCA America has been running Law & Order UK which I've watched some. The trouble there is that they steal many plots from the original so I think I really watch to see if I recognize the story. (Then I turn it off although I like the actors and the different theme musi.)

I have been watching L&O L.A. I kind of like it. SVU is my favourite though. I will not watch Criminal Intent anymore since they changed the entire cast. I liked Goren and Eames. I have nothing against Jeff Goldblum; he's actually kind of good. But I'm not going back. I see in my television guide that there is a Law & Order U.K. airing here (I'm in Canada). I haven't watched it yet. I am assuming it is filmed in the U.K. and they are just airing it here... not really a spin-off like the others. Somewhat like The Office being the American version of a British tv show. Law & Order did another show awhile back when Lenny left L&O. I can't remember what it was called... mostly court room. It didn't last and then Jerry Orbach passed away. Who ever thought the original Law & Order would be cancelled. They went through a lot of cast changes throughout the years and survived. I have no idea why they cancelled it this year, except maybe there is just too much competition out there. They probably couldn't figure out where to put it on the schedule.

I hadn't heard of the U.K. version! I was surprised they canceled the original version but added another. Maybe there is more interesting crime in California!

I enjoy watching the different genres of Law and order. i have seen the newest addition and it appealed to me. it is something i will definitely watch again. I don't Law and order can ever lose its appeal as long as they are true to their characters and their storylines.

We have watched L&O since the beginning and have been big fans. We like SVU, but never cared much for Criminal Intent. I will give L.A. a chance.
