Many peoples have the habbit of reading the Newspapers & Magazines. But some people do not want to buy the news papers or magazines for reading. They are having a habbit of boroing the magazines or news paper. If you are having the habbit of reading will you like to pay for magazines & news papers?

I cannot actually remember the last time I bought a newspaper or magazine and that is just because all of the news and the things that interest me are avaliable online.

I hardly ever buy newspapers anymore, I usually prefer to read the news online instead of buying a newspaper. In my country there are a couple of free newspapers that you can pick up at the train stations and places like that. I sometimes read those papers for instanse while I am waiting for a train, but they are pretty popular and it happens quite often that there are no free newspapers left when I get to the train station. I don't buy magazines very often, because they are quite expensive. There are a couple of magazines for women that I like to read every once in a while, but I usually choose to buy them at a second hand shop instead, because that is much cheaper.

I love magazines! Sadly, I don't have enough time to read them. When an interesting topic is featured on Time or Newsweek, I'd buy it and read it immediately. I buy fashion magazines that are on sale. Because I am a very thrifty person, I'd read it if it's there. I won't necessarily buy one just because I want to read it. However, same goes for my spending habit with magazines: If the cover/topic is interesting, I'd buy it.

I do it from time to time. Like, I have a subscription for two magazines that I got a good deal on. And I also usually get the newspaper in the weekends. During the week I don't have time to read the newspaper though, so buying it every day would be useless for me. But in the weekends, it is a nice treat!

I still subscribe and pay for a national newspaper broadsheet. I'm still ok subscribing or paying for it because I still find it informational especially for reads about whats going on in the national level. I also like reading the feature articles because some are still not on the internet. I'm not sure how long will this go on, because I'm slowly migrating into online news.

I have noticed this bad habbit many times while travelling in trains and buses in India. As I observed every one who borrowed news papers from others could aford to buy one for themjelves.Secondly they pass it on his neighbour or some one wno asks without returning to the owner as if they are the owners of the news paper. i hate the habit5 of borrowing a newspaper when you can afford to buy one.I prefer to be a owner of a newspaper or magzine.....

I generally don't buy either, I just don't read them and if I read one usually it's while I'm out. My parents always buy newspapers and half the time they go unread, it's just not something that interests me. If i wanted one, then yeah sure pay for it but the news is free on the internet and well magazines don't interest me at all. I much prefer book :)

I occasionally buy a newspaper or magazine at the store, but not often. Last year I asked for and received a subscription for three months of the local paper. I usually try to find free subscriptions online, if I am lucky. I also get some from points and things like that on sites I am a member of. I occasionally check magazines out at the library.

I subscribe to my favourite magazine and it gets delivered to my mail box every week. We buy the weekend newspaper as well. My sister sometimes gives me magazines she has finished with and I do the same for her and my mum; we pass them all along to each other so everyone only needs to buy one.

I don't like to read magazines and newspapers. I go to the internet to read news and see new fashions. I like more to buy books and novels.

Given a choice, I do wish I do not have to pay for magazines and newspapers. Often, I would browse the magazine and then decide to buy it. For newspapers, I have no choice as I have a subscription to the local newspapers to be delivered to my doorstep daily.

Quite often if I use the train to commute, I will find a free newspaper. It's genuinely free. The train that I catch hails from London Waterloo, and most travellers have a copy of either the Metro or Evening Standard, which are free London papers. Since they are free, people tend to leave them on the train.
