facebook gift request keeps on coming back

is there a solution on this conflict?
whenever i login to facebook and check something, i notice that there are many gift requests from other friends in some facebook application. I mean, for example, from farmville, fishville, frontierville, mafia wars and such.. I try to IGNORE all the request so clean my account. but each time i refresh back to the home page~ the gift requests remains! i want to clean those gift requests T_T i dont want to see some more gift requests... is there a solution? :(

You can change what notifications you see in two ways:
1) Go to Account Settings, Notifications and uncheck the boxes according to what you want to or do not want to receive. If it is notifications from Other Applications you want to turn off, uncheck those at the bottom of the page.
2) In your list of Applications at http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/settings/?tab=applications you can remove those you don't use. This should stop most posts to your wall which are sent by the Application.

Under (2) you can also edit settings (and remove notifications only) if you want, for any reason, to still use the application.

I have the same problem....and they want all this stuff for farmville etc and I don't even play the games...heart requests..best friends requests....and I won't go into the places that say they want all your information. I can't imagine some of my friends doing that....giving their email addresses etc!

Hi. uchihaseymour. I get these a lot too. I blocked my cousin from sending me these game requests. I took her off of the block today though. I don't like the game requests because I don't play any games at all. You will just have to go to your "Account Settings" and block the person that you don't want to send you any application or game requests.

message your friends and tell them politely not to invite you. if that doesnt work block the app or just ignore the invite completely and let them pile up.
