If the media reports are to be believed, it is said that Sir Alex wants Pep Guardiola to succeed him at Manchester United. It seems that Sir Alex is a fan of the attacking style of play that Guardiola has brought to Barcelona football club. It seems that Guardiola is pretty close to signing a contract with United to succeed Sir Alex!! What are your views on this? Cheers! Ram

i think that both of these are in the best place to guide their own team...so in my opinion guardiale is perfect for barcelona even considering the way he looks football in general and i don't know if on mancherster should be the same because premier and in general uk have a different concept of football and the same topic related to ferguson...so may be they are in the best places for his characteristics in my opinion...

Yes, I tend to agree with your view. Guardiola is at the best place he can be at Barcelona because it is a club he has grown up with!! Cheers! Ram

If Sir Alex will retire, then they will have to bring somebody who has a good resume as a coach. And Pep certainly has a good one, he has won many trophies already, despite being a coach for 2 and a half years if I know well. But I think that he plans to stay more time at Barcelona, because he is at the best club in the world, and as far as I know he is a Catalan, a true Barcelona fan, and he couldn't ask more from life that being the head coach at Barcelona and winning trophies with his beloved team. But in football, just like in life, everything is possible, so we may see Pep on the bench of United.

Yes, I also agree with you that Pep might just stay with Barcelona. But in the current scenario his contract expires next year and he has not yet signed a contract extension. Cheers! Ram

I am not so convinced on Mark Hughes or David O Leary. I think Martin O Neill or Mourinho should be the front runners apart from Guardiola. Cheers! Ram

I think that Sir Alex is better than Guardiola cause he has many experience than Pep and he has won many award than Pep. But in the future maybe Pep has many success with his football team, he has many prospects

Of course we cannot compare the 24 years of experience of Sir Alex with the 3 years in charge for Pep Guardiola for sure. Cheers! Ram

I prefer if Sir Alex was replaced by Jose Mourinho, because Pep Guardiola's Experince is far from Jose Mourinho. \m/

Jose Mourinho has been the favorite to replace Sir Alex at Man U. But now sir Alex's comments seem to have suddenly increased Pep Guardiola's stocks. But this could be another smoke screen like the Rooney episode. Cheers! Ram
