Senators Harkin and Sanders are proposing a new Government Retirement Plan called Guaranteed Retirement Accounts(GRA). This retirement account would replace the 401K and be managed by the Social Security Administration.

Teresa Ghilarducci is a proponent of Retirement equity and favors Government plans for retirement over private. She would like to see the tax breaks for IRA and similar accounts eliminated. She favors "Mandating Equality" so that retirement income would be equal.

Dont you find it telling that privatizing social security - hell no. Making private retirement, public - great idea!

Oh heck no. They have messed up SSI so bad it is not funny. Keep your fricken hands OFF my 401k.
This is beyond rediculous. Hopefully it does not gain any supporters and NEVER makes it up for a vote.
