Do you think a good result of divorce is that more men are a Hands on Dad? Since in most cases the kids come to his house to stay and mom isn't there he Has to make the lunches and pick them up from school , etc. All the things he may not have done when he was married. And nowadays some dads have full custody. So Isn't it good to have a hands on Dad?

If there was one thing I'd like to complain, it's that I think I'm too much of a 'hands-on' type. I think it's borne out of wanting to give my kids the best of everything. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to, but I shudder at thought of what will happen if I was not. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I just sometime wish their grown up already so they could fend for themselves.

Yes. My son and both my SIL's are that way. In fact my one SIL had custody of his kids when he married my daughter and they retained full custody of them....my son...he gets his little one up for school...feeds her breakfast...does her hair...and takes her to school each morning as he works nights...when he has time he spends it with her....taking her swimming...etc. So I think its a very good thing.
