how earth do i change my avatar?

i swear to god mylot is one of the most hardest forum to handle.. i still cant change my avatar, still cant edit my profile, when ever i tried to edit my profile it keeps bringing me back to front page...

You do want to make use of the forums. You won't be able to upload pictures either, until you see 500 after your name. Ask away in "problems and doubts" in the forums. All of your answers are there! Happy Myloting!

i do not have a 500 after my name and have changed my avatar picture today, and edited my profile. i did join more than a year ago.. could that have something to do with it?

I found out we can change our avatar before we hit 500. Oh well, I was wrong.

haha yeah the profile button is a little misleading... or completely. you gotta go to preferences

It depends on your browser too sometimes. MyLot is IE / FF friendly. Though I use Opera for my general surfing, posting discussions in MyLot etc., I have to use Firefod or Internet Explorer for editing my MyLot profile. (However, you need to use the 'Preferences' link above, to change your avatar.)

go to preferences (which is at the extreme top or use ctrl+F and type preferences- if your unable to find it in your browser) you will then see a browser option to upload a file from you computer, you can only upload from your pc and not from websites directly.
