What books would you like to see turned into movies? I would like to see Karen Kingsbury's Unlocked, Jodi Picoult's Nineteen Minutes and Barbara Delinsky's While My Sister Sleeps and The Secret Between Us turned into movies. Also I think James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series would make a good TV show. What does everyone else think?

Oh that is easy, "Hunter Brown" a book my son has read. It is similar to the Potter books but with biblical point of view. The awesome dragons and spirits and things would make a great movie for all. I loved reading the first two book with him and now we are impatiently waiting for January when they come out with the third one. (The authors left the second end with a cliffhanger)

These books from what I have seen are for preteens, at least fifth grade, but my third grader can read up to seventh grade level, so he loves them. But if your son is younger, you can get the first two at a really good price on amazon, especially if you buy them used like I did. But for the third one, I am saving up to get it when it comes out as a birthday gift for him. :) Here is their website, so you know a little more about them. http://www.codebearers.com/

They have them at our christian bookstore, but I will probably get them from amazon, so I can save. But I know he will like it when he gets a little older, because he already likes The Narnia movies. Thanks so much for a great idea. I had never heard of them until now!

There's a lot of books I want to see in the movies and even as tv series. I liked the Princess Diaries 10 book collection to be made into a short series. Some of Nicholas Sparks books such as The Wedding to be made into a film as well. The Digital Fortress, Deception Point and Lost Symbol by Dan Brown but hopefully they'll make them as good as the book or even better. I do hate it sometimes when books are not justified with the movie adaptation they make. By the way, Women's Murder Club was put into series but I think the show was cancelled after the first season with only 13 episodes.

I'd love to see The Beekeeper's Apprentice by Laurie R King turned into a movie. It's a continuation of the Sherlock Holmes' stories. Another book I'd like to see is Graceling, by Kristin Cashore. But, I'd only like these if the movie didn't make any wild changes from the original story.

I doubt a lot of my favorite novels will make it to the screen. I read a lot of lesser-known high fantasies. The books that I love which have a pretty good chance of making it to the screen one day are the Hunger Games Trilogy, the Shannara series and Magic Kingdom of Landover series by Terry Brooks, and the rest of the Chronicles of Narnia series. I'd love to see adaptations of the rest of the City of Ember novels, and I really want to see movie versions of my favorite fantasy novels like the Legend of the Guardian-King series by Karen Hancock, The Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker, The Dragon Keeper Chronicle by Donita K. Paul, and the Oracles of Fire by Bryan Davis.

Maybe. So far the only Ted Dekker adaptations have been of his HUGE sellers... and they've been adaptations by independent film companies who would likely find the idea of tackling the Circle Trilogy much too daunting. We'll just have to wait and see.

The Ted Dekker book may make it to the bigscreen, he's pretty popular!

I read Ian Fleming's James Bond books. I read few of them and I watched the movies on the same books. Although it is not the complete same to same conversions but I enjoyed the movies too. I watched all James Bond's movies except of one actor, who was known as cruel bond. Judge the name if you know about James Bond's movies. Thank you.

The books I've read all deal with family. The one I so dearly hope will enter the big screen is The Body in the Sleigh. There is so much visualization and feelings depicted within the book, and such a transformation onto big screen will fill the theater with so much to view and understand. I hope there will be a voting system in the near future, where people choose the books that should go onto major theater screens.
