about quotation

hi, everybody..
today, I don't know why, I start to enjoy quotations, not only from great people but also from anonymous or even from Homer Simpson! LOL. for me, quotations make me think about this life, wisdom and also often give me motivation and strength to be stronger and wiser. and my favorite quotation is "life is too short to be sad". for me, it's so true and always able to make me stand again after long sadness. how about you people, do you have favorite quotation? and how could it influence you? thanks and happy mylotting..!

actually I couldn't understand well what your quotation tells about. it must be because of my bad English. poor me, ha? LOL. so can you tell me more what the quotation exactly means? thank you..

Well, it means that if you are going to do something stupid, consider that if you get hurt, who and how you are going to explain it to the rescue people that come and help you...
Probably more apt in the 1st world countries that have large emergency response systems.
For example: A friend of the roommate's husband, got drunk, decided to take the kid's off the road 4 wheel bike for a spin (he lives out in the country) and crashed, busting up his face, broke his collarbone and broke several ribs and an arm, and this was on a "toy" for kids!

I didn't used to be a big fan of quotes, however, when my son was little I started creating pictoral digital scrapbooks for the kids and that is when I discovered that there are a lot of times that quotes are great for using when you are scrapbooking. I've found some great quotes from movies and from historical figures. However, I have to admit that most of my favorite quotes have come from Dr. Seuss.

I only sometimes enjoy quotations. if I really need someone or something to give me more motivation when I'm falling down, quotation could help me pump up my motivation..ya, I sometimes also get my favorite quotation from comics, book or movies. like this one, I'm sure you will recognize it easily: "You jump, I jump"..LOL..

some of my favorites are: "Life is hard, it's harder if you're stupid! :)"

your first quotation catches my impression cos it's so true! how hard life could be if we're stupid. we think we're clever but life is still so hard. thanks for your good quotation..:)
