I love to eat chili either noodles or rice which ever is available. I kind of prefer the rice but that takes longer to make then the noodles. I always make a big pot of chili and my husband likes to put his on hot dogs, then I eat it all week long just heating up some noodles to go under neath it. Do you like chili with noodles or rice, or do you just prefer it plain?

Hello friend, i love chili souse. It's making my food little hot and that's so delicious. I like chili with spaghetti, with fry potatoes, in a hamburger, rice or whatever it is. Just the hot taste is amazing. Noodles i eat with cheese.

Never thought about eating it with fried potatoes but that sounds kind of good. I think with a little melted cheese on the top that would be awesome.

It's funny that you asked this question, because I am making chili for dinner tonight! We always eat our chili with rice. I've never had it with noodles. I really love the taste of chili with rice. My hubby also likes to put his chili on hotdogs. I don't enjoy that very much. My husband will also take the leftovers to work. He gets tired of eating sandwiches!

i like chili with noodles, not with rice. if i eat it it makes me feel hot and want to eat more and more. but we used to eat rice with 'sambal' here, made from chili juice and tomato

Normally I'd eat it plain, but you know, leftover chili just might taste good over noodles or rice, thanks for the idea! :-) I make my chili nice and thick, but I only have it once or twice a year as it's expensive to make. I do like it tho. Only downsize that it makes me go "toot! toot!"

LOL, Sometimes that toot toot is a good thing. That means things are moving and shaking in there. Serving it over rice or noodles a good way to stretch it out and make it last longer. Also using dried beans makes it a lot less expensive to make. Just slowly simmer them in water until they are tender it takes about an hour and a half to get them soft, but you can get like 3 to 4 cans worth out of one bag, and a bag of beans costs less than a dollar or just slightly over usually.

If I'm cooking chilli I will usually make enough to last the week, and put in the freezer with rice to take to work over the next week. Rice is quite easy, and I'll normally cook that with flavoured water such as rosemary or basil.

Yes I have eaten Chili with noodles, and with hot dogs, either on them or cut up in it. I never tried it with rice. Will have to try that sometime. With and without the beans. Some family members don't like the beans so it is made without them sometimes.. Beans, Beans, the more you eat, the more you Toot. The more you toot the better you feel...lol That was something my Grandmother use to say....

We like Chili with macaroni. My Mother always made Chili, but put the macaroni in a separate bowl. We would scoop how much macaroni we wanted in our bowl and then Mom would put the Chili over the macaroni. I serve mine with the macaroni right in the Chili. If you like the rice and your husband likes the rice maybe that would be a way of you both enjoying what you like in Chili. I don't know if you have Minute Rice where you live. It only takes a short time to make, compared to regular rice. It might be a way for you to have your rice with your Chili. I know they have different kinds of Minute rice. Enjoy

i love spicy and hot foods and just can't resist them. so, i definitely prefer the ones with chili to the plain ones. again i prefer noodles over rice cause i'm tired of eating rice which is our staple food. besides, i love noodles very much and eat them a lot whenever i can. talking of noodles i just finished gobbling a bowl of it before responding to this discussion!

I like mine plain. I don't like it with noodles or rice. I like to taste the spicy taste of the chili and adding starches takes away from that. I do love chili dogs though. Also I like to put cheese on top of my chili and some cup up pieces of jalepeno pepper. I love spicy food so the spicier the chili is the better for me.

I like it either plain or with rice. I prefer other things with my noodles. But I´m not a noodle person: I eat potatoes and rice more than noodles. And now that I´m trying to slim down a bit, I am trying legumes that are filling but are not so fattening as rice or pasta of any kind. So now it´´s plain chile for me, please.

With some chili. Or other spices. Just plain is a bit boring to me, to be honest.
