I wonder what kind of christmas we will have this year.

There is a lot of snow in Denmark at the moment and we are expecting even more snow the next couple of days. It takes many, many hours to drive from one place to another, and some people leave their cars on the highway, because walking is faster than driving. My parents and my brother live in another town and if the weather gets worse, we vill not be able to spend Christmas Eve together. My husband and I might have to stay in our village. I hope that we can go to my parents house, but if we can't go, we will just have to make the best of the situation. My mother and I talked on the phone and we have decided to create our own Christmas Eve on another day if we have to. What is the christmas weather like at your place? If you live in a country where there is snow, did you have to change your plans because of the snow or are you able to able to drive/use public transportation despite the snow?

We live in Kentucky and this year they are actually predicting a white Christmas for us (we don't typically have them but we have had some snow on the ground for the past three weeks). Throughout my life I don't think that there has been a single time that the snow has kept us from our Christmas plans. This year we will be travelling to Georgetown to visit my in-laws tommorow and then head to my cousin's house in Cincinnati for the rest of the evening. Then on Christmas day the children will open their gifts at home and then we will spend time with my siblings, nieces and my mother.

We had a white christmas last year and in 1995. Last year and this year there has been a lot of snow. Last year we also had to change our plans because of the snow. My husband was supposed to visit his family on another island, but he couldn't drive because of the snow. Last year we were excited about idea of the white christmas, but when the snow actually came it caused a lot of problems and car accidents. Have a nice time with your family

This year it appears that they're will be some white on the ground. However a little bit of snow is find. I just hope it does not do what it did last year. Where we got hit with a severe white out and ice on the way back from my grandparents. There is nothing about that in the forecast. However there was nothing about it in the forecast. However, hopefully it will be a good Christmas this year, that goes smoothly.

I hope that you will avoid that kind of problems this year. I hate driving when the roads are slippery. It has happpened a couple of times this year that we were suddenly unable to control the car and that was a scary experience. Two days ago when there was a snow storm we window was suddenly covered by snow and we couldn't see where we were driving, we drove very slowly and fortuneately we didn't get involved in an accident, but it was still very scary.

We're kind of feeling left out with everyone else getting the snow we usually have. It's been exceptionally dry and warm here. They keep predicting snow but we have had none at all this year that was measurable. However, in the mountains barely an hour away, they're getting lots and lots of it. Our Christmas won't be affected by it, though, at least as far as traveling goes.

I wish that I could say that, we have more snow that we ever wanted But I guess we shouldn't complain, because there in one island in Denmark where they have more snow than we do, and at that island people are told to stay inside because driving is too dangerous. I have seen some of the pictures from that island, and it looks crazy...

We don't have snow in Georgia during the Christmas, but we might getting cold during the January or February. I hope that we won't be that cold like your description in Denmark. I like a white Christmas, but it just won't happen here yet.

In a way I also like it when we have a white christmas, it is beautiful and it creates a special kind of atmosphere, but it also creates many problems. I told my parents that I probably won't go to their town to celebrate Christmas Eve. I would like to be with my family, but at the moment driving is too dangerous. I don't want to repeat the accident that happened last winter

Hi, Porcospino, I work in the news department of our national TV and I follow this snowy winter all around Europe. I wish you to have a good luck and spend a happy Christmas with your family! Here, in Bulgaria, we had a strangely warm november. We had two days of innondations with a lot of damage. And suddenly the temperatures began to fall. We had a snow too but nothing to compare with other parts of the continent.

Thank you I hope that it will be possible to drive, but I don't know yet, I will have to wait and see what happens tomorrow. I follow the news closely tonight, because I have to work tomorrow morning, and I still don't know if it will be possible to drive or not. The children are excited about all the snow, but I am more worried than happy. We have a shovel and drinks and food in the car in case we get stuck and we wear lots of warm clothes, because we don't how the situation is.
