This is and has been one of my favorite programs for a long time, I just love the show and the actors and actresses on there and I did not know that they were based on true stories until my mother and daughter told me that, and they asked me how could I watch that? I just said because I like to see them get caught, and how they are caught, but last night I was watching an episode I have never seen before and it was very disturbing and scared the you know what out of me, because I was thinking what they had told me that those were based on true stories and how could someone do something that was so awful and disturbing as it was and I had to throe up and turn it off!! It did not ruin the fact that it is still one of my favorite programs, but it just scared me so bad. Has that ever happened to you when you were watching one of your favorite programs?

Criminal Minds is also my favorite show. And, nothing on it scares me. Some things are kind of disturbing, but even that's rare with me. Because even though the episodes are based on real life, they change enough so it's not exactly like the real stories. Most of the time. I know that even though there was a real life person doing things similar to what happened in the episode, in the episode I'm watching a fictional characters who don't exist and have never really killed anyone. Plus, I've always been interested in true crime and the real life stories are always scarier than the fake ones. Even when the fake ones are based on real ones. It's just easy for me to remember that Criminal Minds is ultimately fiction. It also helps that the criminals are the least interesting part of the show for me. For me, it's all about the team. The criminals come last in what I care about. By the way, what episode was it that scared you so much?

Oh, yes. I know that one. I can understand why it bothered you. I've read that it was the episode closest to what happened in the real life case. Usually they change big details, but I think the pig thing was pretty much lifted from the actual case.

Yes, it was a real case in Canada. Robert Pickton was the real life killer.

I love this show too however, I did not know they were based on true stories. Went till I tell my hubby he won't believe it. Its on tonight at 10pm and I can't wait to watch it. There stories are so good and I always wondered who wrote these stories and how their minds think. Now to know they are based on truth is really creepy. However, I never got scared to a point of being sick.

Yes they are based on all true stories and I just have always like programs like that because I like to see the creepy people get caught! I don't know why that episode made me so sick maybe it was because of the pig thing that was just gross!! I will still watch it every night because it is still one of my favorite television programs I just won't watch that one if it is a repeat. Well enjoy watching the program with your hubby, and Have a great day!

I used to enjoy watching Lost at the beginning, but after my anxiety got worse, I couldn't even watch that!

I do like the Criminal Minds show as it is so engaging as the actors do a great job at conveying what actually happened in the scenario.
