Did you lit up firecrackers or fireworks on New Year's eve?

Honestly, I did not have firecrackers or fireworks last New Year's eve. I did not blow horns (literally). I did not jump. I just greeted everybody a happy new year. I believe it does not make any difference at all. Firecrackers, or fireworks, they do not drive away bad spirits. The world is full of them and the number is increasing still. I just hope this New Year will be good to everyone.

I never have done fireworks on New Years, since it's illegal here. But kids were still doing really loud ones out side that made my heart stop each time so we called the police on them.

I've never thought that it was important to greet the new year in with a major greeting. I spent the coming of 2011 with my husband and my two children. We watched the ball drop in Times Square and as the clock struck midnight we all had a glass of sparkling grape juice and we exchanged kisses and hugs with everyone. I was able to greet the new year with the people that are the most important in my life and that really was all that was important to me.

Hi Ms. Bingskee, I was awake the whole night thanks to the fireworks and loudspeakers in out locality. It was cold outside and as I am suffering from arthritis, I did not dare to go out and enjoy with them. The servers and network of my cell provider was down most of the night and so the cell didnt bother me like the last year and that was a kind of relief. So I was here at MyLot wishing my "MyLot Family" but most of them were away too. And the there was work - the webserver of my client was down and needed attention. Oh yes, I have something to share with you - it is my Family at Mylot and you can have a look here - http://www.mylot.com/w/image/2433068.aspx [note: Not A Referral Link] Regards, theSids.

I agree. I didn't as well. Though I took pictures with my cousins while our neighbors used fireworks. It will not drive bad spirits and bad people. I also hope that this year will be good for everybody since a lot of bad things happened in the world last year. I pray that God will bless us more and more and that more people will walk on his way. Happy New Year, Bingskee.
