Have you tried eating pork and beans being mixed with sardines

Sorry - that just sounds nasty!I like pork and beans although I don't eat them very often. I like to chop up tomatoes, bell peppers and fresh onions and put in them. If you let it set for a little while the flavors all blend nicely!

Ewww....doesn't sound very good to me! lol Then again I'm not a fan of sardines! I'd eat the pork n beans minus the sardines, if that counts?? lol

goodhunter wow thats a lot like me and chili leftovers with macaroni and cheese and its really pretty good, I bet that combo is not too bad when you think about the tomato sauce on both of them amd if one loves both items. I don't know now with my adult tastes if I would like the combination but next time I have'a chance I might try it. lol no harm in trying something you used to like.

Hi. goodhunter. I can see how you all could eat these type of foods. When being in the Boy Scouts Club, you will have to eat from cans because of the lack of refrigeration. I have never tried this before, but I would like to try it to see how it will taste. I have eaten all of these foods, but just not mixed together like you have eaten it though.

...when i was a young girl, i was also active in girl scouts. i kinda miss that. ...boiling them together? i didnt remember that. i never tried the mixture, but i remember those were the most common canned goods we brought during our camping times. =)

I have not tried mixing the sardines with pork and beans. I don't know know how it will taste, pork plus sardines? hmmm.. I think it's going to be interesting lol. But I personally don't like sardines because it is too fishy. The only time I liked the sardines with tomato sauce was when I spread it on the sandwich and put it on the sandwich maker. It tasted okay.

I like pork n beans & sardines but have never had them mixed together. To be honest it doesn't sound good, lol.

I have never cared for the taste of sardines. i don't think that mixing them with pork and beans would do anything to make me like them better. I would rather eat the pork and beans by themselves.

I already tried this viand. Nothing special about it but strange as I consider. But food is food so no problem to me. I am not choosy in terms of food. As long as I know how they prepared it.
