to do to get out of it, when you have taken all the pain killers that you can.It is now 4am and i have now been awake again for another two hours, just waiting to take more pain killers, as it hurts to sit and lay.My feet are killing along with my back. Not that the pain killers are great but they take the edge off abit.I am now so tired i feel ill.I suffer with servere raynauds that is classed as life long and have critical ischaemia of toes and feet, with psoriasis related arthritis, high haemoglobin probably secondary to smoking, 17.8 now.I have even cut down on smoking in the hope that will help, but my haemoglobin has risen.I am so fed up.

If painkillers doesn't help u, i would recommend that u go to the hospital and let them use some other methods on u. IT's not good in your case because u are not getting your sleep, which is going to affect u. U might have overdosed on painkillers and now your body is beginning to gain immunity from it. Talk to your doctor, see what they are do for u.

I am so sorry you are in so much pain. I have been too since Dec. 30. I had not been able to eat anything without being in terrible pain, until yesterday. I have to have surgery to remove my gallbladder, but that is still 2 weeks away. The only thing I have been able to eat without being in alot of pain is mashed potatoes and ramen noodles. Hope you feel better soon.

That's so strange.. I haven't been able to keep either potatoes or ramen's down since having gallstones and later having my gallbladder removed. As for pain, I am in near constant pain for which I take an anti-inflammitory. I'm also prescribed a "catch-all" medication to help with anxiety, but it also helps me to sleep, but I do not take it often because it causes hypersomnolence, and often gruesome and disturbing nightmares. I was prescribed a great pain killer, but for some reason, the last doctor I had was a TOTAL sh*thead, and after one round of using it and having MAJOR success, he did not prescribe the medication again. His decision to do so baffles me utterly, as for the first time in years, I was able to walk more than just a few hundred feet without experiencing major pain. In fact, I was able to walk as many as 3 miles a day, several times a week and experience only minor pain, which the medication quickly relieved. Now, I'm back to barely being able to sleep, and sleep only comes when I take aspirin, the anxiety medication, or I've just been awake so long that I'm barely capable of holding my head up and breathing any longer. Yes, I've reached the point of exhaustion where even breathing becomes difficult, just because of the pain I experience in my legs. I'm sorry that you're experiencing so much pain jugjugs!

Personally I hope this finds you feeling a little better now than when you first started this discussion as I know being in a lot of pain to where it hurts to do anything is not Fun for sure. I can relate with you in some of the things you are going thru. Are you also Diabetic to top it off? I would consider finding a Doctor who can help with some of these issues if you have the insurance to seek out someone. Sounds like some of these issues could be helped a little more with some changes to where you do not hurt so much and be able to take more control of your life again. For me with my Arthritis even with Blood work proved not to be one type, but still unsure of where all my pain is coming from. They did give me a medication which helps. Just hope I can get some again when I run out. All I can say my friend is I will be Praying for you, and hope you start feeling some relief somewhere soon.

I have a bad knee and a bad back, and I also have arthritis in my back and knees as well, so I am no stranger to pain. I hurt every day in one way or the other. I just have to force myself to ignore it and keep going...

Hello my friend jugsjugs Ji, Let me tell you, as the life wheel rotates it never stays same place. This phenomena holds good at all times since birth of Universe. So your days will also get away. Please go through following and try and understand and make your life feel better :- "SATSANG (a) ”If you can balance /stable your mind, when people around you are in un-balanced , and at the same time blaming you”. (NO-reaction) (b) “If you have belief on yourself, when others have doubt and at the same time, you strongly oppose their belief of their doubt” (c) “If you can wait for Good/Bright days without loosing patience/getting disheartened of waiting”. (d) “Everyone around you is deceiving you , whereas you are not in any way.” (e) “ Every body hates you and you do not, at the same time, you ARE not proud to be ‘good’ and ‘wise’. (f) “ If you Can dream, but do not allow them to overpower you, and you Can ‘think’ but at the same time, do not plunge into dreams of ‘thinking”. (g) “If you can welcome ‘gains’ and ‘defeat’ OR ‘profit’ & ‘loss’ with open hearts and they do not unbalance your mind”. (h) “If you can accept your own words in twisted/mutilated /distorted form, happily by ‘fools’ and they do not involve you in their bad plans”. (i)“ If you Can bear/tolerate the ‘gains’ accomplished by you ‘raise to ashes’ , for which you took whole life to build, and at the same time you can once again order your tired hands to restart making”. (J) “ If you can take one chance to reduce your gains in your life, ‘loose’ or ‘gain’ (like a great gambler) (k)“If you can, after loosing every bit in your life, get ready fresh to obtain the same with total energy from all corners of your body and mind, without uttering a single word even”. (l)“ If you Can compel your heart, mind and limbs, when they are so tired and refuse to accept any thing, except that your ‘belief’ and ‘desire’ to order them that they have to march forward and not falling back”. (m) “ If you can roam in crowds, but do not allow your ‘thoughts’ and ’abilities’ to wander stray, and you live with emperor, but do not neglect common man “. (n) “ If you are unharmed by people loving you and people hating you”. (o)“ If you Can respect everybody within the limits, but at the same time nobody”. (p)“ IF YOU CAN REMEMBER THE UN-EXCUSED MOMENT/SECOND (time) OF YOUR LIFE, AND EXPLAIN THE REASON FOR THE SAME”. Then, the whole world belongs to you only and every thing that exists on this, at the same time you fall under the category of ‘ACTUAL HUMAN BEING ’, which is greatest achievement in the life than any thing else”. Thanks. May God bless You and have a great time.

I know what you are saying and i hope that you joined the group that i sent to you for more help.I do know that there are lots of pain killers that our body in the end gets use to as well as that sometimes pain killers are not the answer.I can understand why you are getting really fed up now, as i think that there is nothing worse than pain as well as trying to cut down on smoking, worse still that by cutting down on smoking it has not done any good. You know where i am if you want me.

Welcome to the world of pain!! lol =D Just kidding! I guess u might already be immune to painkillers and thus it does not have much effects on u. It's about time u stop taking them because u will only end up taking stronger dosage, which only relief the pain temporarily. U should get to the root of problem and solve it. If not, very soon, doctors would have to use something else on u, as a last resort.

Pain like this sent me to Reiki and if nothing else it kept my mind occupied through the worse. I always knew the pain was there but i could keep it in the background while I used reiki to consintrate on. I have now used this energy focus for over 4 years and whenever I need it I can put my mind on it and release the pain. You can learn to use this over the Internet, I got several books at first and then was lucky enough to have a teacher give me a crash course. But could have learned just as much for much less money. The trick is to repeat and repeat the exercise. Another thing that has helped my emotional health is tapping, again you must repeat and repeat to get your brain tuned in. Though I had relief after the very first time, I guess that kept me going. pm me if I can help Pat

Hi jugsjugs, I'm so sorry for you. I think you should consult with an expert doctor. Pain killer is not the permanent solution for your pain. You have to find out the actual reason of your pain. Pain killers have many side effects. It is wise to avoid pain killer pills. There is a risk of addiction of pain killers.

Your discussion is a few days old now so I hope your pain has subsided for you. I was sorry to read that you were suffering so much. The last time I experienced unbearable pain was when I had an infection on my knee from a shaving nick of all things; the doctor had to cut it open to let the infection out and it was terribly painful when the anaesthetic wore off and I had to drive myself home! When we are in pain like that we would give anything to feel better and we are well again we seem to take it for granted...Take care...

I'm lucky that I have not had to deal with the kind of pain that you are referring to. My husband, on the other hand, has been dealing with chronic pain for the last several months and he is still trying to get answers as to what is causing it from his doctor. For the last two weeks now he has been waiting on his doctor to get him a referral to a specialist, but as of right now they haven't been able to get that done either. So, we are playing a game of wait and see.

I would talk to my doctor about pain clinics, alternative medicines, etc. There's got to be something that will help...but I'd start with him/her.

I've felt out of my mind. Nothing was without pain. Nothing seemed to get rid of it. And all I can do was endure. I'm sorry you are having so much trouble.

I can't imagine all that you go thru with your ailments. The only way I can relate pain wise was with the c-section with my son. It was horrid to me, while other people claim to bounce back fairly easily, I didn't. It took months to feel decent where I didn't cry to get up from a chair, toilet, or out of bed.

I can't stand to be in pain! I am glad I don't have as much pain as you do, I don't know what I would do. I am sorry you are in so much pain. My physical problems only cause mental pain. I do have the usual old age pains like arthritis etc. but nothing severe. By the way, I am glad you are back and didn't quit here ompletely.
