How would you describe the people in your city? Are they good or bad as a whole?

i live in a small city. it is not to far from the capital of my province. i like to live here because the people is very nice. i don't have a bad experience with them i hope.

My hometown is so small and not that far from the city. I really love my hometown but not the people in it. Sad to say that for 32 years that I have lived in this hometown, I couldn't see much improvement. The people here are selfish, greedy and jealous. They cannot accept something new or any innovations in this town at all. When they see a new neighbor coming they would welcome them with open arms in pretense, but would talk behind their back the moment they have the opportunity to do so. They would gossip and try to put that person down by making up stories. They do the same when one neighbor would succeed in business, they would try to destroy the person's reputation. I am sad that this is my town and my neighborhood, but it is a fact. That's why i don't stay here much and don't plan to live here forever.

I have transitted Hong Kong International Airport several times. People are very nice , friendly, and courteous. I have not been into the city. Yes, I can understand it is a very busy city. People here in the city I live are very friendly and nice. It is pretty much an international community in many ways. There is a huge China Town here, a very crowded place too, with many visitors all the time.

I think that the vast majority of people that live in Lexington are good people. Yes, there have been some times in my life that I've had problems with a few people, but I am able to get along with most of the people. In addition to that, I think that the people here aren't always in a hurry. Basically this city is like a big college town and I think that the behavior of our residents reflects that fact. I really don't think that I would be able to live in a huge city.

I feel everyone has good and bad in them. I am frustrated because when I was younger, people in my city cared for each other in spite of the prejudices that prevailed. Although this is the town of rumor mongers, people were always willing to help someone who is down. Of course there were those who took advantage of this kindness, people who were lazy and never do wells. But now days, people in my city are less likely to help those in need. They'd rather point fingers and judge despite the fact that they may be wrong in their judgements. Since the economy (although it might be picking up) is bad, people are looking out for self. And this means that many of them are (sad to say) not to be trusted. Thus, I say most of the people in my city are bad as a whole.

I don't live in a city but a large town in Scotland and I don't like it as there are a lot of heroin addicts here. Going into the main street where the shops are is horrible, there are so many addicts and I am scared of them. They try to steal from the shops and they hold people up with needles and knifes to get their money. My husband was stabbed with a used needle 5 years ago when he worked in a supermarket and it was a terrible time for us both, years of tests for aids and other diseases. There are of course many good people too but it is always the bad one that put my town down and give it a bad name.

hi wildlikttlefan Hongkong is a very large city is it not? I have never been there but had a friend from honkong who really loved it and was always telling me about her home city.But she came from monied family and I thought she was exaggerating quite a bit. I live in Garden Grove but the street here where in live is in a city within a city. Little Saigon'which was built from 25 square blocks of Garden Rrove by the vietnamese boat people. they came here with literally nothing but the clothes on their backs and built a thriving litle city inside GardenFrove. as neighbors they are great, friendly,polite and law abiding. oh and their yards'are so pretty even the rental units they all plant flowers and shrubs and keep them up so nicely. They have a lot of small shops here locally. here in my partof Garden Grove both caucasians and vetnamese are really law abiding and friendly too. they are good'as a whole really you seldom see a police car here unless its for Gold Crest as some residents who are not mentally stable have gone for a walk and got lost so they called the police to search for them.

I had been in Hongkong for several times already. I find the place very nice. But I do observe people are really busy. I think that is because we are all chasing for money. In my country, people are also getting busy. Gone are the days we really sit down together as a family to share our days' adventure.This is life today! !

The people here in our city are basically simple people. They are peace loving , religious and helpful people. They are generally law abiding citizens. Although, there are some bad elements of the society here (as common in every country and place) , in general the city has good people. They work hard but they don't do it in such a way that they don't have time for their family anymore. At the end of the day , at 6:00 p.m. you would see them buying groceries or food before they go home to their families. They don't hurry that much because there are a lot of public transportation that could take them to their homes. On Sundays, you would see a lot of families attending the mass on churches. What a sight to behold! Am so proud of us Filipinos!

In my city, people are somewhat not disciplined. They will throw garbages where ever they wanted to. They are almost making our whole city a large garbage can! Not only that, in our marketplace here, there are vendors staying on the sidewalks and the road. That causes a severe traffic. Even though the Mayor in our city already ordered to put steel bars to stop vendors from staying on the road.

basically people her in our city is......people are simple.. but still other might do a thing that you do not want.... it with us::)
