There are alot of people that you can see are suffering from stress for many reasons in their life, but will never admit that they are stressed and try to fight that awful feeling. There are people that will admit to being stressed, with less things to be stressed out about. With all the added worry of people having no money as well as no work, when will we all be less stressed and less drs seeing people with stress.A mental illness that can also end up causing a physical illness.

We will stop seeing this when people begin to realize that they don't have to keep up with the jones', that they don't have to have all the bells and whistles, that life's basic are more important. Then we will be able to feel joy and serenity where we haven't been able to before. It is normal to want but not like it is now days.

hi, as a worker, i earn money that i can use to any problem i could have, but those who dont have work more feel stress than a worker, because they can stress more because they dont know where and how to solve their problem without money.

You are right and I don't think that there is an adult in this world today that can honestly say that they don't experience stress in their lives. I know that I've been undergoing a lot of stress in the past year. It has been a lot to do with my husband's medical issues and also with financial issues that we've had to go through. However, I also try to take it all in stride and I am not the kind of person that is going to complain about the stress that I've been going through in my life.

I have stress from time to time though. I am no different from anybody else. I myself have tremendous amount of stress and pressure from work, family, and relationship, financial etc..... numerous of them I can not even handle myself. Sometimes, I thought to myself, would I want to deal with all these. Should I just be care - free?

We never admit of having the stress just because we never know about stress we are having. When there is a symptom about stress to us, then only we start worrying about it. For me, I should have a living habit to maintain my mentally and physically health. I should do more exercise as jogging, walking and so on. I shouldn't drink too much of tea, coffee and pop which contains very much of caffeine. I shouldn't smoke and to a hard time to my heart and brain. Finally, I should SMILE all the while. Smile is the best way to release all of my stress.

Stress is becoming more serious lately in society. It has been proven by the medical profession that stress in itself can lead to depression and can also affect physical well being overall. It seems that we will only minimize stress in society by changing societal behavior. We have to determine if what we truly seek as a society is worth the stress.

hi joystick I am a diabetic and stress will shoot up my blood glucose so I use the method my diabetes educator taught us. I use my pretend plastic stress proof shield around me and envision all stresses as bouncing off it and never bothering me again. It works for me and keeps me more balanced as long as I eat properly and the right foods too,.We can learn to shield ourselves and do not have to let it bother us at all. we can shut it out completely and for long periods of time.My bubble method does work. Use your imagination to protect yourself' to better health.

Yes, that's right. Life is more and more hard and in hurry. So, people get more stresses. We're not an exception. If we don't find to balance our life, we'll be easy to get stresses.

I admit that I'm more and more stressed. It's the same old story - I work too much, I don't have enough money and can't cope with my problems. But I'm still moving and don't give up - maybe because I have no other choice:))

I have seen an increase in general unhappiness among people too. Honestly, I think it's because people would rather take a pill to try to fight it...mostly because Doctors are prescribing medications as a first resort. There are many ways to fight it that don't involve medication. I like to start my day with morning affirmations. I think it really does help reduce my stress, and build my self esteem. here's the link to the video I use every day if you're interested. http://hubpages.com/hub/morning-affirmations-hypnotic-video-start-your-day-with-positive-thoughts-and-reap-positive-results
