My husband bought me a set of Round Knifty Knitter Looms for Christmas. Before I got these, I thought I'd never be able to make a crocheted hat. I have since made a hat for my best friend, one for each of my sons, and another for a baby that I babysit. They are so easy & I have learned that you can also make other stuff with it also! Does anyone else have any knifty knitter looms & what is your favorite thing to make with them?

I have had them, but some for some reason I keep going back to my needles.Gave them all to my sister.I think she uses them.I guess I never gave myself time to get used to them.I had looked online for patterns for them and there is alot out there.I will probably have to buy me some more and try it again.

My mom just bought a set of Knifty Knitter looms. The long ones. She got them after she bought a knitting board for me for Christmas and saw how much fun I was having. So far, she's still learning, so she hasn't made anything, but I expect she'll make something soon. I haven't used the Knifty Knitters myself yet (made some slippers with the knitting board) but I'll be borrowing hers to learn on at some point.

I do too...I bought it for my little granddaughter to learn to knit on..but we haven't finished a project yet....she is making a hat for her daddy...my other, a little older granddaughter made leg warmers for herself! I do like the knifty knitter though...just have to find some times to use it!

I really would love to have a set! We were in Wal Mart once and my boyfriend seen the set with all the different sizes. Immediately he wanted to buy them for me. I didn't let him simply because I have so many irons in the fire already with crafts to do. I do really want that set though!! I may have to re-think it and ask him to buy it for me for my birthday in April. Honestly, I have craft supplies in my house now to keep me busy for the next 5 years or so! Marsha

I used to when I was much youger (just a kid) but never knew what to do with them. I've recently taught myself how to knit and crochet using guides from the internet and i can make just about anything crocheting. I can do hats, cardigans, booties and toys. I never quite liked the thought of knitting in the round with circular needles but looms do look quite straightforward. Well done for getting into it :)
