Who here does wildlife viewing as a hobby? Does anyone go travel and try to see wildlife for fun? Or do you like wildlife, but it's not your hobby, and when you see it you see it, and you don't go anywhere to see it?

I prefer wildlife photography though.I would like to photograph wild animals in their natural habitat.sometime in my life I would go to Kenya and go on an animal safari.I would like to take photos of elephants, giraffes, lions, and zebra running free in wide open spaces.I like visiting zoos and seeing animals.I don't think there is anything wrong with zoos and animals parks,as long as these animals are fed everyday and aren't mistreated.

It's not a hobby in the way that I don't go around a lot to look for local wildlife, but when I travel I often go to bird sanctuaries, wildlife parks or go hiking. When hiking, you often see animals and birds that you don't see in town. I'd really like to go on a safari in Africa and see big wildlife. I might go on a musk ox safari here this summer, I just need to find one with a good guide 'cause I don't want to be chased up a tree by one!

I enjoy watching wildlife, but don't make a hobby of it. I miss it sometimes, though, because I used to live in the country where there were lots of birds, raccoons, skunks, coyotes and on and on. I now live in town and only see a few varieties of birds and not much else. When I first moved in here, there were rabbits, but I guess someone's dog got them. I should go driving out of town and watch for wildlife!
