My God is not God?

A person who believes in God can never find God. If you're open to reality, there can be no confidence in the reality. If you're open to what is not known, there can be no confidence against him. However, trust is a form of self-protection, and only a petty mind believe in God.
Just look at the trust of the pilot in the war, who said the Lord to accompany them while they dropped the bomb! So you believe in God when you kill, when you judge, when you insult, when you manipulate and extort fellow human beings. You worship the Lord and you continue to extort money by cruel, support troops-even if you believe in forgiveness, compassion, kindness ...
As long as there is trust, there can not be what is not known; you can not contemplate what is not known; mind can not measure it. The mind is a product of the past: it is the result of the day yesterday, could such a mind open to what the unknown? He just can project an image, but the projection is not real and thus the Lord your God is not-it's just a picture that you created yourself, a picture to satisfy your own heart.
Reality can only occur if MIND understand the whole process himself and stopped. When the mind completely silent-just at that moment that he is able to accept what is not known. The mind will not be clean until he understood the contents of her relationships with objects, with man-until he straightened right relationship with everything. Before he understands the whole process of conflict in relationships, the mind can not be free. Only when the mind completely silent, not projecting, when he was no longer looking and completely silent-just at that moment that what is eternal and is in all space and time emerge.

I have never seen Saturn, never even a glimpse but have decided to believe that it truly exists. I know that after the sun sets the sun will again rise tomorrow because I trust that is how the Earth's process is. Without trust in the knowledge of things we are nothing.

Science has really proven what? Have you seen Saturn with your own eyes, or the rotation of the Earth? Science has explained a lot of things and I realized most of them I just came to understand without actually seeing with my own eyes, but I did believe. Now, science even tries to prove events in the Bible much further proving their occurrence and it's reality.

Magellan already knew that the world is not flat, Galileo knew of the Earth was moving around not the sun, and so on and so forth. There are things known and not accepted even when there is enough proof. There is no ignoring the truth here, it is actually knowing what is beyond the obvious. Have you studied the difference in religions? If you did, you'll probably notice more the similarities, and this points out that indeed there is human error to this but there is more truth. There is nothing to be proud if the brain is not used, but then, prove first the non-existence of a divine being before "BELIEVING" that no such thing exist.

choybel, you can discuss on a topic if and only if you try to understand others point of view.
The logic that you are applying to ignore the truth is same as a cat while drinking milk closes her eyes and thinks that no one is seeing her.
If you've got brain, please use it, think of poor people 2000 years back or even 500 years back. They did not have understanding of technology like us and therefore they could only interpret those extra terrestrial encounters as something divine, however, they tried their best to symbolically explain those incidents in their texts. Unfortunately, with time those history books have been mis-interpreted as religious book.
Now 90% of mankind is afraid of using their brain in these things and they pretend to be proud. Time has changed so many things, it will change these things also.
There are a few things that we can see with our eyes and understand but we don't want to.
E.g. Existence of more than one religion, it just does not make any sense.

Meh this is becoming a funny discussion. Gods existence cant be proved nor can his lack of existence be proved.
Its all about having faith and trust in fellow human and the almighty if u believe.

Interesting discussion. If God exists then He can be found. When you find God, you will no longer need beliefs. You will know. This should be the same with everything. Beliefs might point a direction but they should never be valued more than that. One should always strive to discover the truth. Yes, children of God do come with lots of problems. There is alot to learn, however that's what life is all about. One might empty their mind to discover who they really are. We are all spiritual beings in our true natures. This is what is, however there is much more to the story. Eternity has purpose. Thought will be needed after all!!!

islander7. Eternity does exist but not within the physical universe we live in today. If you base everything on the physical laws of this universe, how can you know your spirituality. I thought you were beyond this point. Hmmm? How can I place it in terms with this universe. Quantum physics shows the possibility of multiple dimensions and universes. If you were in a dimension without time, you would be eternal. We are all spiritual beings trapped in a physical body. Our connection to our physical body traps us in this physical universe with all it's laws. We remain until it's time to change. We will survive beyond our physical bodies. Our eternity has purpose. Your next goal should be to understand that purpose and everything along with it.

Humans are not likely to dig up the facts at all about God, except God himself who opened the facts.
Human Relations - God can only be built from the Lord, for example through the "prophets" or direct sightings.
The problem, from the many writings about God (holy book), maybe not all true.
(still more likely to be all wrong).
when we do not move and do not think an active (silence of mind), we will better understand the eternal spirit of our own ... i guess.

Then how step to believe in God if God did not give facts about the essence of his to me? Do I have to wait a few facts given by God? So what should I do to just wait? I think people would wise to prioritize their fact-finding without having to wait for the appearance of God.

God, just a name if we can not understand and believe in His existence. Intellect is not just a creation that will get out of the scope of the existing reality. Where possible we will be able to know where God is. Only certain people who know where he is located.
