Who is the Man who changed HISTORY?

Two thousand years ago, the birth of a certain male Child caused a multitude of angels in Heaven to praise God in the hearing of some shepherds (Luke 2:8-14). Thirty years later, that child, now an adult, began a ministry that lasted just three and a half years and yet changed history. Historian Phillip Schaff stated about this young man as-" Without writing a single line, he set more pens in motion, and furnished themes for more sermons, orations, discussions, learned volumes, work of art, and songs of praise, than the whole army of great men of ancient and modern times." That remarkable young man was none other than Jesus Christ. What are your views?

No man showed more love for mankind than Jesus Christ. Too bad that so many have misrepresented him and done horrible things in his name.

Yes, that is the reason, many people misunderstand the Bible and its purpose, they have left the Bible, because of what people did bearing its name!

So also saying they are Christians, followers of Christ, many have done unbelievable things for which many have left any trace of faith left.

Hi keep on watch: I think that was a beautiful description of Jesus Christ, my God, my religious leader. I love his words and his lessons of love (even to those that are considered my "enemies") and peace. I beleive in him as my saviour and yes, he has change the history of humanity even the number of the years are took from the yeasr that it's supposed that Jesus was born. This year is 2011 because Jesus Christ was born almost 2011 years ago. Thanks for your words. Have a nice day. ALVARO

Yes! Jesus sure is every one's savior, the Messiah and his purpose to come on this earth: 1) To do his Father's Will. 2) To die as a ransom for all humans. 3) To leave an example for humans to follow him and live life. 4) To show what he will do later as a king in God's kingdom by his miracles. 5) To give an example that humans can remain faithful to God, despite Satan's temptations.

Interesting question!! The life and teaching of Jesus has touched so many hearts very deeply. That is why he is called the Great Teacher.. And he was only doing the teaching work for 3½ years! Great subject....

It makes a Great Story! But where are the facts? I appreciate your faith in the Bible, but that book was written when men believed the world was flat, by University Graduates who's educations could be compared to that of today's Grade 4 Elementary School students. The words and stories were passed from generation to generation for hundreds of years and translated over 200 times by as many churches, as there are different religions, each with their own language and agenda. Come on man Get real! How could any thinking man of sound mind believe that stuff?

Some 3,500 years ago, the Bible stated that the earth is hanging “upon nothing.” (Job 26:7) In the eighth century B.C.E., Isaiah clearly referred to “the circle [or, sphere] of the earth.” (Isaiah 40:22) Far ahead of its time, the Bible correctly stated that the earth is circular and hangs “upon nothing”. As you said, in an age when the earth was believed to be FLAT? THE Bible writers were honest men who wrote with openness of heart. Their candor gives their writing the clear ring of truth. The Bible writers openly admitted their own failures and weaknesses. The Bible writers did not try to gloss over what some might have viewed as embarrassing truth. The first-century Christians frankly acknowledged that they were not admired by the world around them but were looked upon as foolish (1 Corinthians 1:26-29) and that the majority of Jesus listeners rejected his message.—Matthew 27:25; Luke 2:4-7; John 7:15. The Bible writers agreed on even minute details, but often this harmony was clearly unintentional. The historical accuracy of the Bible was once widely doubted. Critics, for example, questioned the existence of such Bible characters as King Sargon of Assyria, Belshazzar of Babylon, and the Roman governor Pontius Pilate. But recent discoveries have verified one Bible account after another. Thus historian Moshe Pearlman wrote: "Suddenly, sceptics who had doubted the authenticity even of the historical parts of the Old Testament began to revise their views."

i believe on Jesus, yes He is a 100% man and He is also a 100% devine and therefore He is God, as the Bible revealed it. The Bible is not just a book, it is a book consist of 66 books and it was written by different authors in different times and with different backgrounds and yet it is does not contradict to each other and it talks about God from the beginning down to Revelation. I believe that the Bible in the original manuscript is inspired and it is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
