If given the choice.. how will you like your life to end? Is it fast or a prolonged one... What I mean about a fast one is that you suffer from heart attack or you meet some kind of accident or through unforseen events and as a result you die and what I mean about the latter is that you will suffer an illness, say cancer wherein you will still have to live for a few years more. Some say that it's better to meet an instantaneous death that suffer the pain of living with cancer.. On the other hand some say that it is better to suffer form this disease because you can prepare your family and everything.. you can plan the future of your family until such time that you die.. How about you which do you prefer..

I would prefer to die instantly like in a crash or a natural disaster. In that way, I would not go through all the suffering of those having chronic illnesses. And at the same time, I wouldn't let my family suffer for me as well emotionally, physically and financially. I can't stand to see them doing everything for me to survive but in the end I will still die.

Id say dying instantly but if I can really choose how I would die. I would like to die sleeping, if in case I have a cancer and it is really 50/50 chances of survival, I would like to die instantly than to suffer or Ill ask a family member to have mercy killing.

Many of you said you want to die sleeping... you'll never know you might get your wish... about mercy killing it is illegal and pity that person whom you want to administer on you... hahah..

i would rather die instantly than to have all sorts of sickness and diseases and endure all the pain and the hospital bills just to be able to live. i guess i would really choose the first one and die right away... never wake up i hope would be the easiest....

Yes it's really hard to die the prolonged way because it is too costly and a big burden for the family that will be left..

I'm scared of dying so I'd opt for the quickest way. But not the gruesome kind like a car accident or anything like that. I'd like to die in my sleep.

For me, i want it to happen instantly coz I dont want to prolong the agony of my family seeing me sick and dying aside from the fact the financial worries that they have to go through to help me out with my disease.I want my family to have less worries when i die.

I agree with you that if you die the prolonged way particularly of cancer you will be drained financially but as much as we would like to end our life to avoid this from happening, our family members will not let us die without giving us the best medical attention that they could give without thinking of the finances that it would entail especially when they love you..

I'd rather die instantly, although it would be nice if one could warn the family ahead of time. I wouldn't want it to be a big shock for them, that would be awful. On the other hand, I wouldn't want a long, drawn out time of dying. That's hard, too. If I were just speaking for myself and not considering anyone else, I'd want to die very quickly.
