I watch the news today and find out that someone has already post an invitation in the internet in mainland China and ask the people to come out for a peaceful protest in every major city in China right now.Would the people come out and stand up for their own right?I don't know. But on ething for sure, the middle east protest movement does motivating the Chinese in mainland China to think about what they can do at the present time. The communist government has long history to oppress the chinese from freedom of saying. When look back in 1989, we all can remember how the government would use her militay strength to oppress the people from democracy. There are still many corruption, unjustice and the dictatorship of the communist party happening in Chine today, and that's why we really have to keep an closer look at what will happen in the next few months in China. What do you think?

China has her differnt politics form different with Middle-East countries and Western countries. The Communist government is trying to innovate our economics and people's life. I think China will be better tommorow.

The Chinese Government is as regressive as any in the world. Human Rights almost nonexistant.People have already tried to protest and have been brutally put down by the Government. The Chinese people are online, and internet usage is now commonplace in China. The writing is on the wall for the Government. Its only a matter of time before the Chinese population begin a protest that cannot be put down. Thousands will die, but those who live will not be stopped. Communism in China will be replaced with a Government of the people, by the people and for the people!

I hope that China can have a brighter future, at least a place where we can really see human justice and freedom of speech.

It is true that human rights almost nonexistant in China, but the cheating by the goverment makes us feel "happy" and satisfied. Most of our text book tell us that democratic rights like a monster,we don`t need it ,and we must be faithful to our nation.I think that you probably overestimate the abilities that the Cinese people have, actually,we don`t have the courage to protest the government.

Hello wildlittlefan, I do not think Chinese from mainland china will do the same thing other people from middle east have done. Their form of government is not the same. For sure Chinese soldiers will disperse them immediately if their are suspects to topple the government. I do believe that their form of government is just right for their people. They have citizens who are notorious so that communism is just good for these group. That is what I think.

I've never been to China and I can honestly say that I really don't know a lot about the way that politics are in China. However, I will say that the protests that are going on in the Middle East are doing a lot to fuel people that really haven't had the human rights that they really should have to try to have changes made in their lives so that they will be able to have the rights that I believe all people are entitled to.

I agree with Irene66. In most of the countries currently being effected, there is a dictator with lots of riches in the midst of squalor. I've heard that if you are a member of the Communist Party, then you have certain privileges. But they are not filthy rich like the countries undergoing protest now.

I hope not. We can't predict these kinds of situations. Maybe if we just pray that nothing happens to them they will be fine.
