This past week I've been filling in for a store manager who took a nice tropical vacation (I'm jealous) and I've never had SO many different issues to attend to. I've never had so many unhappy customers, so many store issues, so many weird situations with our cash deposit.. Granted I am filling in at the busiest and biggest store of my company's "monopoly" but I don't feel as though I am handling it well. Right when I get most issues resolved, a day goes by, and I am back to square one. It's like shoveling in a snow storm. Customer service managers, how do you do it? How do you make EVERYONE happy AND fulfill your other store/job duties? How do you find enough time in your 9 hour work days to do everything?!

You get used to it and after awhile you get faster at resolving issues because you have experience with all kinds of problems. Some days, though, it is very discouraging because some people are just rude and obnoxious.

Well i see you work at a store and im guessing a retail store of some sort but not sure. I work in the construction industry and im the one who answers the phone and am the one that is in the office the most and i have to answer the phone, file paperwork, do paperwork, make sure the guys in the field are doing the jobs they are supossed to be doing and then of course doing my job as well. My week consists of going through proposals making sure they are correct and making sure the customers get them and are not mad they are late. I get calls every week from potential customers asking where there proposals are and im only one person doing so many things and sometimes i cant get them out the next day like the person told them that went and saw them and im sorry im busy doing a million things i feel like. I dont like dealing with mean people but in life i guess we have to.
