I suspect that many who say they believe in god really don't believe there is a god. Why do I say that because I base it off of their actions. I find it curious that many theist would rather live then die even though they say that heaven is a peaceful place. I mean its not like they put themselves in situations where they could die and it technically wouldn't be considered suicide. I see many theist act like as if they are on their own as oppose to expecting God to provide them every or any materials they want or need. I also see them say one thing but do another. Do you suspect the same thing?

I suspect you are right that many theists don't really believe in God. I also suspect that many atheists do believe in God but have been hurt by religion in some way. Many many people in this world never show their true selves to the world. That's a shame for our true selves is what the world really needs.

Not exactly the same situation, but I wonder if some theists have spirituality. Some just follow the rules but never really have a connection with their morals and their spirit. Some are just like robots.

It's true that many people who say they believe in a God don't appear to show it. No matter where you look, people are doing things that are blatantly against their own supposed religions. It's sad really. I find that people put their own interests in life at a higher priority than their own religion, and act outside of it's limitations.
