I just had the best omelette in my life. It was full of sauteed onions that

were carmelized, fried sweetpeppers, mushcooms, and precooked brocoli. A little bit of cheese to add to it, but not overpower it. So what is the best egg dish of your life? If it's one with things added like an omelette, what do you love to have them put in it? I love eggs, but omelettes are the best to me. What do you love? Thanks and take care.

well, leave out the peppers and add spinach and it sounds good to me! Swiss cheese would be even better! I do love those caramelized onions, even LIVER is good with enough cooked onions on it!

I love cooked spinach, but only if cooked from fresh or from frozen, don't care for that canned stuff.

I had it all three ways cooked and it was nasty. I was told to either eat it or go to bed hungry, I willingly went to bed, the smell flipped my stomach and made me queesy. I have had a layer of it in lasagna before and with enough cheese so I can't smell it or taste it, I can tolerate it.

I love omelettes and they are one of my favorite dishes for any occation as they are easy to make and I can use any leftovers I have. Fortunatly, I have chives in my garden. So all my omelettes have minced chives and they add a special flavour that I love. I like the bacon and cheese omelettes, the rice ones, the awesome carmelized onion ones. All are yummy!!!

Wow! Your omelette was overly stuffed! It must tasted so good, a really healthy treat for breakfast. I seldom have eggs for breakfast, I got tired of eating it because it had been on the breakfast table since I started eating all by myself. Anyway, an egg dish that I can't back-out is the custard flan which is one of the specialty dessert of my mom. I always love eating them as snack or dessert.

Your Mom makes custard flan? Wonderful! Make sure you learn how to make it from here. I wish I had learned how to make more things from my Mother. Take care.

hi, I think what you mentioned is called Spanish omelet( also spelled omelette) in my country although I'm not sure if the origin is really Spanish, yes really delicious especially with bell pepper and cheese, and can have several variants like adding a little sauteed ground beef or chopped spam or meat loaf if beef is not available or if you prefer a meat dish. I also put a little ground pepper or hot sauce if there are times that I want to eat spicy,

Everything sounds good except the spam, I'll let you and my husband have that. We call a spanish omelet one with tomato sauce in it and some people only if it has rice, too. Thanks and take care.

my dad taught me how to do scrambled eggs in a double boiler (that way there are no hard bits and it is all light and fluffy). i actually do it in the microwave too. i only put a little bit of milk and a ton of cheese in it.

Eggs are weird for me in that nine times out of ten I really enjoy them but every once in a while just the idea of eating one makes me feel queasy. I do enjoy omelettes when I'm in the mood, and my favourite are Spanish style with cubes of potato and whatever veggies I have to hand. I also like lots of cheese, but I always finish them under the grill as I really dislike runny egg and that's always a risk when you fold them in the pan.

Sounds good. I'm not one for potatoes with my eggs very often. Cooked spinach and pea soup make me queesy, so I know how you feel. wonder why it's just once in a while. Cooked spinach by itself and pea soup always make me queesy. Thanks and take care.
