"Aliens" and "UFO" in news everywhere, do you believe in such news?

In last one year, I am observing that every now and then there is something related to "Aliens" or "UFO" is posted on the Yahoo home page. All the news article which are posted on Yahoo home page are at least 70% true, then why not this news?
Right now there is a news that says, "Air staff claim aliens spoke to them". 
A few days back, there was a news that claimed a UFO was filmed in Jerusalem. There are so many such claims all over the world but many of us don't believe in any such thing.
There are incidents where such things have appeared in past and ancient people have described it in their own terms and such facts still exist today. Won't you believe on such things?
I have a few questions for everyone:
1. Why don't you believe in Aliens and there presence on earth?
2. Do you think it is not a topic that you should be adding a comment to? (If yes, why)
3. What will make you believe that Aliens exist and they might still be visiting us?
While reading about these things, I have come across a few interesting incidents, for me it confirms the existence of Aliens.
Following are a few of such examples:
1. Search for "14th April 1561 Nuremberg Germany" in Google and you will get some interesting results.
2. Search for "Bob Lazar" in Google and you will find something interesting.
3. Search for "Ancient Greek Computer's Inner Workings Deciphered" in Google and check the national geographic link.
4. Check this one:

5. Check these ancient artifacts and decide yourself:

And there are so many such proofs still available on earth but we just tend to ignore them, why?
I've a few simple probability questions for all of you:
If an intelligent (at least we think that we are) civilization like us can exist on earth in it's approximately 5 billion years existence, how many such civilizations are possible in this Universe in approximately 15 billion years of its existence?
If civilization like ours can exist in a solar system of less than 10 planets, what is the probability that a civilization like us or even much more advanced than us would exist in this Universe?

What difference does it make whether aliens exist or not?
People have claimed aliens exist and have visited this earth for years and years, yet no one has ever seen one, no one can prove they've ever spoken to one and what's more, if they do exist, what have they contributed to society?
what books have they written? how have they improved our world in any way? are there any alien scientists, philosophers,doctors,archeologists, etc?
Don't you think that by now,(since some people say they have been flying around here for years)they would have made themselves known?wrote a few books? provided some wisdom or knowledge we humans aren't privy to?
So, IMO it doesn't make one bit of difference whether aliens exist or not,since it's quite obvious if they do, their more than content to live on their own planet and are nothing more than a little curious about ours.

"so called "Gods" that we worship in all the religions"
Since i only believe in one God that rules the entire universe it is very difficult for me to think there are all sorts of aliens and gods ruling or living in other civilizations. and even if they exist and are from different civilizations we know very little or nothing about who they are or what their purpose is.Don't you think that by now, they would have made themselves known to us? Don't you think after all this time a great many people including major scientists and archeologists, who spend a good part of their time researching new finds. would have been able to discover a lot more about these aliens? Who they are, where they are from and what can we learn from them?
Just because a few people decide to write a few books on the subject of aliens and just because some people believe they exist, does not mean this is true by any means.
Although i do believe everyone has the right to believe in anything they choose, in my opinion,it just isn't something i accept.

Hi jujunme,
Thanks for taking time and replying to this discussion.
First thing that I would like to tell you, "Alien" does not mean something hovering/flying in the sky.
UFO and Aliens both are much much different.
Most of the people relate Aliens to the UFOs, which are in most of the cases hoax.
As far as Aliens are concerned, I don't know if you will believe me or not but the so called "Gods" that we worship in all the religions are nothing else but people from higher level civilization. I hope this will give you an idea of importance of Aliens for us.
I hope you won't feel bad about it, in case, if you wish to discuss on this topic, I will be more than happy to provide you with the details.

If you read the examples which I've mentioned in this discussion, I hope your common sense will say 'Yes'.
Let us know what kind of proof you want to know to believe in their existence.

i don't belive people delcaring on tv or in some tv shows i saw ufo or i had proofs about existence and so on..may be it can be more probable to belive that somewhere in the space,really far from the earth,there can be a planet where there are other creatures...

I agree with you on this, even I don't believe on such UFO sightings (most of them are hoax but a few of them are real), however, if you wish to search for more proofs, I would suggest you to look into the history and assume that the gods were some higher civilization who came here and genetically engineered us. You will find these things more logical.
I feel, we have been taught enough of BS in our books, if you use simple logic and open your mind to some so called "controversial" topics, you will certainly find the truth of this world.
E.g. They say, Pyramid was built approximately 4500 BC and first "Wheel" was invented in approximately 3500 BC.
There are n number of facts related to Pyramids which are not even possible for us at this so called "advanced" level, I don't know on what basis people in this world are ready to believe that Pyramid was built by humans.
Pyramid is not the only one such thing, there are n number of such things that exist on earth which are telling us, don't be a fool, use your brain and try to understand the truth..but no need to tell that how many people are ready to think on this topic..

hi dollar my grandgparents and great grandpareents came from
'Missouri. so I like them question things when people state
outrageous comments without any pictures or any thing to
validify their comments. I can say I saw an alien who was purple
with white polka dots and a lot of gullible people will believe
it simply because I said so. It was an out and out lie. I do
feel we are not along in the galaxy but this will be proved
with valid pictures and statements from experts not some person
who is just out to create a big name for him or herself and has]'no real proof. I am skeptical as on the net any thing can be said as the truth
and without anything to support it I think most things are bogus.

Hi Hatley,
I know most of the people are skeptical about these things and instead of saying "Skeptical", I would say, they don't want to believe it but the fact is, whether someone agrees or not the truth will not change.
Please read and if you have some time try to search those incidents which I have mentioned in my discussion, I am sure you will find some truth, at least, one can not deny the "Germany incident".
I know it is very hard to believe on such things but the truth is, our governments are covering it up due to obvious reasons.
What do you want to see or read to make sure that yes they exist and they have visited us?

I don't really know if there really are Aliens or not but somehow I do believe there are aliens and life existing some other planet. I have no proof though.
