Islam beliefs in oneness of God. We worship Allah as one, without partners, rivals, like unto him, and as a God not as a human. He begets not nor was he begotten. He is the one true god who created the heavens and the earth. Well tell me, what other religion belief in oneness of the creator?

Written in 1473 BC in Deuteronomy 6:4 (Young's Literal Translation) 4`Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God [is] one Jehovah; For the Jewish religion, there is only one true God. Jehovah's Witnesses also believe in one true God.

I did not mean that way, What I mean is believe in one god, rely unto him and hope to Allah only to Allah... Maybe you mis understood what I say. Today, most of the people put their trust to their president to politics not to Allah...

Yes they believe in one god, but they worship more than one. When you make a wish upon a fairy, it's like saying you are worshiping a fairy. When you seek the blessing of the country's president, then you worship your president.

What other belief? My belief in myself creates a oneness with me and with the world in which I live. To worship anything is to put something above your own worth. While religious individuals believe no man can ever be a god's equal, I believe no god can ever be man's equal.

He was not saying man was G'd's equal...there is a language problem here. He was saying there is only one G'd. Muslim's feel that most religions believe in more than one G'd...in fact they feel that they are the only ones who believe in only one.

Oh, my bad. I thought he was saying that his particular god was so much above everything that no one can be its equal and asking what people can possibly believe in if they don't believe that. I don't dispute these types of beliefs. I just believe differently.

That is no doubt very good for you and stops you having to think about the life the world and the universe but for me I have no wish to pay some sort of homage to a some god that someone invented for whatever reason that suited them at the time.

all the other monotheistic religions believe that exact same thing... I mean, 2 of the other biggest religions in the world, Judaism and Christianity, both believe in that exact same thing... its the first commandment that say that you can not worship any other god, because the christian and jewish God is the one true God... This is the reason why it is so pushed in the Qur'an, because it was common in other monotheistic religions to have the one true God, and Islam started about 700 years after Christianity, and thousands of years after Judaism, so they really felt that they had to push the concept that THEIR God was the RIGHT God... But you know what, I say it's just fictional stories from over a thousand years ago... I think it would be best if you didn't care so much about it, and were more accepting of people of other religions as well. It's the hate for other religions that has been the biggest push towards our willingness to go to war, and thats a horrible thing.

Amen Brother: There is only one God and no other. Belief in many gods result to confusion and war. Just like the basic mathematical tenets, it is true for all time all over the universe. Even if there are no more human beings to contemplate this, God shall always and shall ever be.

Aside from sects who claim to profess that they are Christians, belief in the oneness of a divine creator is the Church of Christ or Iglesia ni Cristo in pilipino. they believe that the only true God is The Father, a spirit in a state of being. His greatest prophet is Christ, a man whom He gave authority to save and entrusted with supernatural powers. The holy spirit is a messenger not a god (all these are contained in the Bible.) The Church of Christ, Iglesia ni Cristo , Iglesia de cristo in Spanish continuous to spread worldwide members of whom from many nationalities
