Why do you lose your temper because of others?

As we know, when we are aware that someone has made mistakes, usually we get angry first, though we know anger does no good to us.We really don't have to harm ourselves for others' faults, but we just cannot hold our own sometimes. Why??

I can put up with alot as far as stupidity and others' faults But when it really gets just down right dumb and obsurd or if some action is totally unjustified then I get mad. If there is a good reason for an action then FINE, I try to buck up and admit defeat and apologize or whatever. I think the worst is when it is unjustifiable and idiotic. No reason for it!

I guess it helps release the tension, but sometimes anger is not healthy because it can have effects itself. Maybe it's to satisfy the ego?

Yes,often getting angry appears that you are full of ego, that can easily lead to untrusting from the others.

I rarely get absolutely, downright angry. I live with the philosophy that others can't make me angry, but it is my choice to get angry or not because of what they do or so. So, in most instances, I choose not to get angry. Harsh words or actions can cause me to be hurt, but then again, I suppose that I choose to be hurt from them. It's hard not to be hurt at times. But it is easy for me to choose not to be angry.

I think we get angry because we cannot control what other people do. We are frustrated because the situation is beyond our control. That makes us angry.

So if we are really frustrated,we had better accept the fact and don't have to get angry to hurt both ourselves and others. But really we can't make it every time...

I think that some people do things just to get a reaction.I know that temper can put your bp up, so i tend not to get angry, i tend to think about other things and forget what has made me angry. There are people that do not get angry over many things and there are people that do tend to try to get even.I tend not to do either, as life is too short.

maybe some people are shocked at first, some are being defensive, some are very protective and some are just overreacting themselves.. there are many ways of anger and commonly they become hostile... i think those people needs to have anger management for them not to hurt others, themselves and the public~

In day to day life, I really try not to get angry, or lose my temper...it seems to exhaust me of all energy, and leave me very disconcerted! What works for me, of course, does not work for everyone...but I take a deep breath, count to ten, and try and gather my thoughts, before reacting, so that I don't have to repair the damage that a "fit of temper" can cause. I try and rationalize that mistakes are just that...mistakes, and they are not intentional! Take care..and Cheers!

I am an "old dog", Olds...and it has taken a while to learn, what I have said above! I just hate the fact that ANGER let's me know that some-one else is in control of me...and my emotions! I am the "master" of my own mind...and to me, anger is a very unneccessary emotion and creates a lot of stress! Congratulations...you are doing great with your postings! Take care..and Cheers!

Some people just knowwhat buttons to push to make us angry. they know how to send us over the edge. What may start out as a small disagreement can be blown into some huge when we lose our tempers. it can be embarrassing to do this in front of other people and sometimes i think the other person may be just be going for that.

Because their fault, mistakes affects us indirectly. Mistakes from them might cause us to be late, be scolded, be judged differently as well as being mistaken for someone who we are not. For example, when we are rushing for meeting, we are actually out of the house early, so that in case of any happenings, we can still make it. However, plans really go according to plan with accidents happening or people refusing to give way or whatever, resulting in us being late. When we finally arrive, do u think people in the office will bother about what happened during the journey? No right? SO don't we have the right to lose our temper?

I think it's more because of our sensitiveness to certain issues than because of others. Sometimes, it's because we can't stand to hear the truth about ourselves. Or because our ego gets hurt. Or simply because those others are being plain abusive. Anger is a normal human emotion, but we have to keep it in check.

Right, the reasons that lead to our anger are mainly because of ourselves,we'd better hold it in check.Good luck!

What I actually don't like where I usually lose my temper is when someone tries to measure as to how long my patience is. Patience is like a bomb because when it runs out then it explodes. We do all have the end of our ropes so as much as possible I try my best to extend it.

It has to do in my opinion with the way the person character is like. Sometimes it is a natural instinct to be defensive. While some can control it others at times cannot.

Yes,we can't get angry about anything unjustifiable absolutely. If you can ensure whether you lose temper or not all depends on yourself but not the ones or the things concerned, then you are smart.Have fun!

To lose temper is not good to everybody,so we must hold our own in front of any big or small challenges.
