All friends here know about my health issues due to diabetes, I find difficulty in walking, but I have to complete my assignment as chief-examiner, chief -supervisor in various college examinations and competitive examinations. I am morally bound to complete. From next session I will not accept any such. But I will continue in my research work in ultrasonics and guide my scholars for PhD. Learning and sharing of knowledge is a never ending process, I get kind of satisfaction from this. Please share your opinion. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

Hello Professor, Thanks for this great discussion. You have started a wonderful discussion. I like it very much. You have to complete your assignments and you are trying your best to complete them despite your serious diabetes. In diabetes you should do regular morning walk and some light exercises. Bitter juice of "Karela" will be very helpful. Chewing a few leaves of "Neem" tree is also beneficial in diabetes. You can also adopt eating yellow bread. In diabetes people feel more thirsty and more hungry. They eat a lot and thus their weight increases. This makes the diabetes more worse. I am very happy that despite your illness you are continuing your profession and earning at this age. Which type of diabetes do you have? Non-insulin dependent or insulin dependent?

I have never heard of Karela, yellow bread and that the Neem leaves could be chewed. Could explain the uses please? In diabetes the hunger and thirst occurs when they do not stick to their diets, which a lot of them don't. Even when given the diet sheet they are inclined to guess the quantities instead of weighing and measuring the amounts until they can safely remember the quantities that they are allowed to have. It's human nature and for busy people, it takes too much time so they can't be bothered. Unfortunately, and the result is the damage that excess sugar in the blood causes.

Well from someone who is Diabetic I can relate many times with the problem with walking and it hurting to walk. Especially since I am one that deals with problems with chronic wounds not wanting to heal etc. But I also know that when I do feel like walking I usually feel better from doing so as well. Personally I just try to do what I can when I feel the Best, and then go from there. I know that it can be a hard thing to do things you know are good for you, and should help your heart, weight, etc. but when it hurts it is hard for you to do. I think personally you need to find your medium and keep on doing what is Best for you.

hi professor I think you are so lucky to have something you really love to do so it will not seem like quite so much work. your students are'very lucky to have you to. As a fellow diabetic I know first hand how diabetes can really get to you. After I lost a lot of weight I did not have any more foot pain. I am lucky according to the ophthalmologist that I did not have any retinal neuropathy but I do have cataracts and a little damage to my left eye but my right eye is almost perfect so am glad of that. I can see how with neuropathy of your feet that all that work you were doing is just to much now. hope your doctors can find some 'help for the nerve pain.Your research work in ultrasonics sounds very exciting and I can sense you love working with students too.my opinion is that I bet your students love having you work with them also.

You are right that because of the fact that you've taken on the obligation of administering the exams there is no way that you are able to get out of it. I think that you are right that you should take it a little bit easier in the coming semesters. However, it is clear that you clearly have a lot of love for the research that you've been doing and I would agree that it too is definitely not something that you should give up.

It seems you're all booked up, Professor. Take it easy, though, and get yourself checked up regularly. With that amount of workload, you might wanna slow things down a bit or your diabetes problems, the one with the achings, might get worse.
