spent $260 this morning to find out why she has been vomiting off and on all week. They gave her a shot for nausea, took an x-ray, gave us some pills. Then they said, "maybe it was something she ate.." well DUH!! After all that, basically no answer. Nothing has changed in her diet, or activity nothing unusual. No worms, or anything like that. I am just frustrated. Poor baby. Have you ever felt like you spent money just to waste your time?

Many times when even going to a Real Doctor it can seem like they want you to go in and in and in and take more Tests and keep on telling you "Oh, it is nothing. But if it does not get better come see me in a week." Quite frustrating for sure. Just think of it on the good side... Since nothing was really wrong hopefully everything will pass on by just as quickly as well.

Wow that's tough! You literally spent a little fortune for something they can't really explain! Whew! That's frustrating indeed. I think I have gone through such a thing a few years ago when I bought something I thought I needed only to not be used in the end. I think it was those baking cups for baking macaroons. I spent a lot for those little things only to find out that those could bake without the use of the cups. Well, I think my experience is different from yours with regards the degree of money spent, but still it's something that we did that was a pure waste of money. I hope your dog is better now.

Your vet bill was quite expensive. At least can you see the results? Is she still vomiting? If she does, I suggest you to go to see another vet, as the vomiting may be a sign of many serious conditions. Yet I hope she will be OK and you won't need to spend another hundreds of dollars for a vet bill. I felt like spending the money just to waste my time when I went to the vet because Binne was scratching herself. I couldn't see any fly on her so I worried that she had some allergy or something. So I went to the vet. Unfortunately he was not there, but a young lady (I'm not sure she was a vet herself) gave me some pills to give Binne against scratching. When I arrived home I checked the name of the pills on the internet and I found out it was an antibiotic. What? An antibiotic against scratching? I had never heard something like this. Of course I didn't give Binne those pills, instead I went to see another vet.

Oh my God what is going on with your cutie? Well we all heard about stories of how vets couldn't find nothing, it's always because they don't know what aproach to take, I think you should go to another one as soon you have money. We have 2 vets, they don't know about it, there's this one that has a way with my cats, the other one is carring for my dog cause the cat one didn't know what she had, the other one cured her and she was in pain on her tummy

yeah I have, not for my pet though. I went to a walk in clinic and they told me I had all these things I did not have such as irritable bowel movement. I turned out to not even have that at all. The medicine for everything they told me I had costed about 40 dollars, I feel bad my parents wasted their money on that. I found out the next day when I saw my personal doctor that they really had no clue what they were saying.

Yes, for myself and my dog. Seems like doctors/vets are just about taking your money and blowing you off with things you already know or could have figured out yourself. These days I find myself being the "doctor" and doing my own research, it's really sad. When doctors/vets don't wanna do there jobs, everybody just wanna do the easy things.
