Can i get a Sifu to teach me blogging?

I am learning to use blog at the moment, can anyone teach me how to edit header width so i can insert an image like logo next to my tittle description on my blog header.. i cant find any option on design tab, so i think i can only resize the width from HTML. But that things really gimme headache by just looking at it.. hopefully someone can teach me here.. regards,
