I can't believe this. My husband finally gets to go to work and I have to hit him with bad news. Yesterday I was waiting for him to come home for hours to thell him. I need to have two tumors out of my bladder. The operation will be either April 8 or April 20. He was off work for 9 months. I've been trying to find out why I had heavy blood in my urine since Christmas. The best possibilities are the darn things self-abort or disintergrate. Unlikely, but hey, I believe in miracles. I've had many so what the heck. The next best is that they come out easily with very little muscle that needs to be removed below each one, that they're only shallow surface little buggers for roots. He gave me many more scenarios, but each one gets worse and worse. We won't dwell on those and I don't want to discuss them. OK, so visual people, please imagine a nice beautiful inside of a small pink balloon. All nice and pristine. That's what I want after this operation. Or you can imagine the little buggers coming out peacefully. A friend of mine prayed that a brain tumor would be independent of the brain and just need a few blood vessels and nerves cut out. It happened just that way. So very surface would be nice. OK, auditory people, please talk to them and tell them that they have served their purpose and purpose can go away now. Or come out peacefully with the Dr's help. Kinesthetic (people whose power is through fisical movement), tell it to move it, move it, move it! Did I miss any? If I did, you can tell me and please don't take it personally. Or if you believe in more conventional religions the Lord's Prayer is always good or one that is standard for your beliefs like to Saint somebody. At any rate, I'm open to all prayers for the positive. Please no discussions about someone who had the same thing unless it's positive or encouraging. No negative anything. I only would like positive thoughts and wishes here. I just want a nice pink functioning bladder for the rest of my life. I've been told to be totally positive. Thank you very much. I'm not sure how much I will be here. I have lots of pre-medical tests to take. I will be looking back at these for encouragement, so please think encouraging thoughts and write encouraging messages. Thank you for whatever you can do that is within your personal belief system.

Okay, you want something positive? As a firm believer in my Creator who knows what is best for everyone, I like to pray for His will be done. A story comes to mind about Joseph, whose brothers sold him in slavery and he spent many years in an awful jail until he was put second in command of Egypt so he could save his people from the famine. So, though trials come at us, we have to know there is a bigger picture and if we just hand it over to G♥d, that all will be good, because He is not the author of evil, but of good..Praying up a storm for you writer, keep me updated...:)

I believe in the Creator, too. He delivered me from pneumonia by prayer before and I believe he can deliver me from these funny looking things growing inside of me, too. Operation will be April 8 at 2:45PM or April 20 at 7AM. Going to get clearance for my operation today at 2PM. So wish me luck.

I believe in fate. Things happen for a reason. And are timed for the same reason. I think you are an intelligent woman and this won't get you down for long. I think one of the most important things to do is to take it a day at a time. Women are strong and you are no different. Find something to laugh about and love those you hold dear. What more do we want or need from life?

Yeah, laugh, love, and be happy. I hope the reason is to teach this Dr. to have faith in his patients. Told him it was my bladder and I was right! Maybe he's already learned something. Told my husband to plan on snuggling with me the night before. So far the operation is either April 5 or April 20. Depends on how fast I can jump through hoops that they want before the operation.

I forgot to tell you that each of my grandfathers had tumors in their bladder. They were not malignant. They did come back occasionally, but they were removed laparascopically. They lived long, functional lives, dying in their 80s in on case and 90s in the other.

I am a 'traditional or conventional believer" but I also can visualize, and mentally order the tumors to be gone. I am trusting in your vision of the smooth and clean pink balloon. God is giving you gifts already because your husband is going back to work. You will be okay, and I will pray that blessings come from this situation as well.

You got it all going on! With you in my corner, both traditional, visualizer, and ordering the tumors to be gone. With you in my corner, it's just got to be good! Yes, God has given me much. I'm truly best. Wonderful husband, home, kitty cats, my car, my friends online and off. Yes, I think he's going to rest while I'm sleeping in the operating room. The first week back to work doing a physical labor job, this could be a blessing in disguise.

Be thankful that your husband is back to work now and that you are getting the treatment early. I think that health is one of the biggest areas in our lives that we know we should take better care of and yet we don't do it. I am sad to say that but I find that since doctor's are so expensive that we tend to not go as often as we should!

You are right, you've had lots of miracles and this one is just a small hiccup in your path of life. You will do GREAT and these will turn out to be nothing but little reminders that we aren't as young as we once were. You are a strong woman, it is normal to worry, but you have nothing to worry about, all will come out right in the end.

I know that it can be frustrating to have medical conditions that seem so negative. I don't know if I can make things go away, but I have heard that thinking positive thoughts can help. I can picture soldiers or police going in and removing the offenders from the area. In a way, that is what the doctors will be doing so maybe you can think that happening and it might be better before you know it. I didn't see this message until today so I don't know if you had your surgery or not yet since you said it would either be on the 8th or 20th. If you had it, how did it go? I hope things start going better for you soon. It sounds like you started having problems about the same time as I did, but since you didn't want other stories, I won't go into details. I just hope that you are doing better now. Have a great day!!!

I had the surgery on the 8th. It went so well that I didn't have to stay over night. I like the imagining soldiers or police removing the offenders from the area. They just called me and they want me to go in for the results of different tests they ran on it, etc. Thanks and take care.

You're Russian Orthodox? Wow! I would have never guessed. Like the angel. I went to a church one time in Canada. Most in Quebec are in French or English. Since I know enough of both languages to get something out of it, I just looked for a Catholic Church and didn't worry about it. I sat down and that was a language that I did not understand. I thought, "It's all Greek to me." So when I got out of church, it said on the sign, only thing in English, "Greek Orthodox Church." Wow! It wasn't just Greek to me, it was Greek to the entire world, even the Greeks! I went to one Russian Orthodox Church during a tour of Alaska. Sitka Alaska was Russian and still has its Russain Orthodox Church. Just went in and they told us about it. No service or anything. Just part of the tour. Thank you for prayers for the sick and the Our Father. I've had miracles in my life and I think another one is about to happen.

WRITERSEDGE: Yep. Just joined recently. I was in a Western Rite Eastern Orthodox Church, but it folded, financially. Some of us followed one of the priests to this new R.O. Church, which is actually still being completed. Either Church is virtually interchangeable, except for certain unique Russian customs. For example, in Russia, on Palm Sunday, they had no palm fronds available in their wintry climate, so they chose the first thing which bloomed there to use instead--pussywillows! Greek is "Greek to me," too! I really hope you're getting better. I'll ask the priest next week to put your name on the prayer list, if you email it to me in a P.M. Oh, the little angel? You have it, too. It's one of the emoticons over to the left of the text field, 3rd level from the bottom row! Hugs! Hi writersedge I am a firm believer in the power of prayer and positivity. You have already been through similar so do not think so hard and continue to say to self I am going to get through this! Yes I am! Get a good night sleep the night before and do so as you have always done and try really hard not to dwell and continue to say it will be over in no time. Think ahead on how bless so far you and your husband have been and that nothing will stop the happiness. Before you know it you will be back on here saying it was a whiz and I am blessed and life will carry on! The power of positive thinking my dear friend, and I too will keep you in my prayers not for sadness but that it is over and you can resume back to being you and that it is all done and life is peachy once again.

Everything that comes our way has a reason. It will not be given to us if we cannot face it and surpass it. Just keep on praying. God bless!

I prayed before and he healed me from pneumonia, so he can heal me of this, too. I also pray and believe. I add friends after they've answered many of my discussions and we're both sure we have enough in common and believe similarly enough to be friends. Otherwise, I have pages upon pages of people I have to delete because they come here for a month and then quit. Thank you very much and take care. Peace and Love to you.

They saw it on a Monday and took it out on a Friday. They believe it is a rapidly moving one, so I had to move rapidly myself. I would have much rather been able to wait, but they were afraid it would be all through my body. They waited to diagnose the thing since Christmas, then they were in a big hurry. If they had looked in January when I wanted, I could have had time to pray. Then if might have been gone, but I was busy going to another Dr. to get clearance, getting bloodwork, an EKG, etc. plus I had to talk to my husband and set up people to be waiting with my husband. Then I also had to work one day and get my bags packed, etc. I did pray a little bit, but not like when I prayed for deliverance from pneumonia years ago. I had no insurance, I had no money, the only two area hospitals we have had forgiven me large amounts of $, but no more, they had said. I was weak and bedridden. I prayed for God to either take me or show me how to get better. Suddenly, I had energy. I walked and walked. I saw in a field of dandelions, this one huge glowing dandelion. I ate the glowing head. I went back to bed. I had to take a small garbage bucket and cough up phlem. I coughed up half the buckerworth (small one, but still a lot). I slept the clock around and got up just like nothing happened the next day. I really thought the same kind of thing would happen again, but the Drs. kept me hopping. There was even a person who kept calling from the Drs' office and another who kept calling from the hospital. I went to work the day before just to take my mind off everything, keep my sanity and have money to pay for all of this. I really wanted to have a pray in. The weather was bad here or I would have gone into the woods. It was beautiful the day of the operation and the days afterward. But with God, all things are possible and if you have the faith of a mustard seed, etc. I truly believe. But Drs. keep you crazy now a days.

I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. I hope that once the tumors are removed that they are not cancerous that would be the best outcome. I had to have a scope done on my bladder before it was bad but it wasent anything compared to how bad it hurt to urinate the next few days. I've never had anything that painful in my life. I never want to have another scope done again I feel like crying just thinking about how bad it was. I'm guessing you had to have the scope done to and will have to have it done again to remove the tumors. I pray for you that the pain isnt to bad and the procedure goes well. Keep us posted!
