Taking test today, it is work related

I felt like I was back to school today, because we have this quiz, and we must have a passing grade of 70%. Sounds like fun, isn't it? Once a year, our workplace, or probably our department would give us, each individual employee a training video to watch. Right after it, we have to take a small quiz and make sure we understood the whole videos. Today, it is more like an open book test, we have a quiz sheet with all the questions in front of us, we simply sit in front of the computer, and circle the multiple choices that match the question correctly. You know what, I made 90%. How great that be. Although we got no prize for it.

WE don't have that here in our office. How i wish we could have that too here. I take it as a test of my skills as an employee. It also serves as a brain sharpener. I am really fond of quizzes that makes our brain work.

hi, i remember the time when i worked to a telecommunication, every end of the month,we had an exam to exercise our mind about the products and promos we had,and the score will reflect if we were knowledgeable about it.and this exam also affect our service level.

That is great that you scored so high on your test though. Good job with that. I have not had to take a quiz or test in a very long time. I do not miss those days LOL.

we used to that but it has no effects if you failed or something. Its just to test you if you know what you are doing or learn something with working there.

Although our minds think test in many ways it is enhancing job skills. Congrats on your 90% and hope you continue to succeed with work. Some jobs do have employees test from time to time to make sure the employees are apt to handling their job descriptions.

I think its a good way to engage/educate employees with regards to process to be followed or about a new product launch. It creates an environment of enthusiasm within the employees and serves the objective of the company too.I think this is a better method rather than making it look like a compulsion.

Yep,some jobs do need a little knowledge or skills sharpening every so often..I did a couple of hours last week on how to use the different types of fire extinguisher there are around my workplace, and got some hands on practise with them afterwards, though not on a fire-it'd be knowledge that'll be useful to have, but hope I don't need to use! 2 things I learned-if the fire's reached the ceiling of the room,a portable extinguisher won't have much effect-some of them only work for about 30 seconds-better to raise the alarm and get out.And 2)- when using an extinguisher, have your back to the door you'll be escaping out of..
