who/what is troll?

hi bhabycatch013 a troll here is a mean nasty natured person who goes around hitting the minus tab over and over so as to take down people whose stars are 10's or 9's. we hate them as the are only here to upset harrass us and make our lives miserable. if they get caught they are kicked out of here at once. we aree not to rate anyone more than 11 times in one twenty four hour period as to stop the trolls from their mean mischief. they are not funny they are just mean and should not be here at all.

hello bhaby, I can still remember when this "troll" doll (doll? nayyy) becomes popular here in our place. There was a contest for the best dressed troll and my hus niece joined with her troll dressed with,i forgot what's the costume (ahaha) it's decades ago. And this troll issue was the also a controversy the first time i joined here in mylot 2 years ago. i can still remember when i also asks a veteran what does this troll means here in mylot since i knew troll is a doll (again ...a doll? nyayyy again) Now again...another troll on the looose. how's your late night escapades then?...

Hi bhaby: For me a troll is a person that just want to creat controversy, tat will find a reason to fight with you for the pleasure of doing this. They actually do this for attention so people that goes to the Internet just to creat conflicts have a problem in my opinion. ALVARO

Well thanks for your discussion because thanks to you I know what a troll is now and from what everyone is saying the best way to deal with a troll is to ignore them.They sound like bullies so they will get bored if you ignore their small existence. Trolls=bully

Trolls? here in mylot well since i am brand new i cannot say anything about trolls running around here but i have met a few trolls online who made life a pain when its actually meant to be fun and beautiful :) i do hope to keep away from the trolls here....and hey if you are Harry Potter fan you can read the first book for an 'nasty' description of the the troll- the real one i mean! i remember reading they really stink!

Troll here means a certain someone who goes on breaking the rules over and over and talks/behaves badly to decent peoples. One who likes to hurt peoples in all the possible way they can on the internet.. Most of this Kids are insecure and probably gets bullied in school and try to take out there anger by acting tough over the internet.

Well, the question of what a troll is has been covered by other posters. Here is how to deal with them - just ignore them. Do not respond to their posts in any way and they will very soon get tired of talking to themselves. You can also report them to the admin who will very likely close their account which will deal with them for good.

hi! often trolls in mylot are associated with people who bring trouble in discussions. they sometimes write off-topic responses and comments, randomly or purposively. what they do is disrupt what could be a normal or regular discussion. sometimes the words they use are foul, degrading, racist and very disrespectful of one's culture, beliefs and being. trolls sometimes attack upfront and visible with their posts. some trolls are masked and they attack behind one's back by doing massive negative rating to bring one's star rating down without due and probable cause. unfortunately, many has been subjected to these attacks, and many has been stressed over these. trolls can be reported. and they can get banned. as for prevention, i don't think any administrative action against anyone is fair unless proven that he/she has done something like trolling or did some violations in mylot. when i was a kid, troll dolls in the market did not appeal much to me because of the associated story like a semi-villain in a fairy story. hehe plus i couldn't get their hair in perfect shape. lol

Trolls are heavenly unidentified virtual creatures ... negging others,tagging discussions with inappropraite words,playing around in dark words are their major routines.Great day.
