Funny tags

Do you pay any attention to the tags that other people put on your discussions? Sometimes I do, and sometimes they are really funny.
On one this morning on the subject of divorce:
"I hope R moves out soon"
On the one from the other day about Dearra and abstract art:
"Crap art"
On one about guilt:
"All about him"
On going after the other person when a relationship ends:
"good riddance"
Lamb's discussion for today had"
"we're all gonna die"
You see all kinds of tags, relevant to the discussion or not, people's names, somebody commenting that the discussion has been reported, even insults, but how often do you see tags that actually make you laugh?
Do you leave funny tags?

When you post a discussion or you reply to one, it will ask you to enter a tag. Apparently they are useful for searching...

Tags are words or phrases located just below the red notice: "RESPOND TO THIS DISCUSSION". When one first replies to any given discussion, after you submit your reply, you're given the option to make up a tag & submit that, too. It's optional, so no pressure.
Tags are supposed to be little classification reminders to us use tor find out if there are similar discussions, so we won't post something too similar. That may result in one's discussion being deleted by the PTBs of MyLot. The only thing is, I've never found out how to find the list of tags to check & see if a topic has already been covered. Worse, how does one know under what word or phrase another MyLotter might choose to tag her or his reply? As with many MyLot dealings, I'm frequently puzzled. Even so, it's fun to play with the medium, & I do so often! 
Query: Have you read the Guidelines? Your posts stand a much greater chance of having MyLot accept your posts if you do. These rules aren't always clear, but it may keep you from making the most heinous mistakes. Even so, we long-timers here still goof up. I had a discussion yanked just this morning! I still think the rule I supposedly broke wasn't clearly defined...but that's a whole 'nother post! ;o)

I do not often notice tags. I also do not deliberately leave funny ones, unless it is a private joke. Between me and me. I should take a tag tour some day.

I certainly try to! I agree with Reader's Digest and feel humor is the best medicine! IF I didn't get a good laugh now and then I would be in a nut ward someplace poppin' flies.

You and me both. I was on a call this morning, programmer had to repeat 5 times why a testing error wasn't his to fix (occurred on a system he didn't even have access to), before it got assigned to the right group. Sometimes you just gotta laugh...

Hello dawn, i have and i like it sometimes ! Some of them are pretty hilarious too. I would actually encourage others to tag my discussions with such funny tags. I notice the tags others put in my discussions. Sometimes i am able to guess who had tagged with what, but we can't be sure about it because we can also tag discussions that we can choose not to respond to, but anyways whoever it was, it was funny.

Hi. dawnald. I don't like the tag, "We're all gonna die". Yes, this statement may be very well true. I feel that the person that made this tag should not have said this, it is just offensive in my opinion. I have noticed that many words and phrases are submitted under my discussion as tags. When I look at them, I notice that I did not write this keyword as a tag on there. Someone else has. I don't appreciate getting funny and silly tags. I also don't like it when I put tags on my discussion and someone comes back and add what they feel is needed. Well, I have already done that. People can be so dumb at times, that is why I don't pay any troll any attention. Thanks for creating this discussion, dawnald.
I am glad that I am not the only one that has noticed the "funny tags", that trolls may place underneath our discussions.

Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they are not. Offensive tags should definitely be reported and removed.

All the time! I love to see if anyone--especially the owner of the thread--could guess which is mine. I wish MyLot would print all the tags we put up. It's not as if they lack the space...

To date to be honest I have never looked any of the tags in my own post. Once I place my own I normally do not look what others have placed on mine.
I have looked on others discussions and at times I can't help but laugh. Laugh only because sometimes they are not related but then I figure it must be related to something someone posted so no, I have not reported any tags to date.
Well I just saw a few and to honest I still can't stop laughing and sadly it was placed on a new members discussions, but the tags appeared to be completely related.

Hello Dawnald, to be really honest I never much bother with tags, but after reading your post now I come to realize that there are actually so many tags that are funny and ridiculour. Usually if the discussion is something to do with environment or movies or some social issue then I add tags or most of the times I never add tags when I am responding to a discussion. But now I will start observing them for the kind of ones that you mentioned about! :) :) :)

they do put tags such as that?
the tags that i put in are usually related to the topic, if its about children, then i put children, if its about dogs, then i put dogs..

I really don't check my discussions tags. I probaly should after what you just mentioned! I can leave funny ones and I did one on your divorce discussion from this morning! I can be nasty,too! I left a "Good-bye'on the discussion Lamb had started and later had deleted that day. Anyway I try to put tags on discussions that fit the discussion!
