Is there any other C++ Programmers on Mylot?

I am interested in making friends with like-minded Programmers like myself. I am quite good with C++. Simply put I know that If I can start a community of programmers I will make my future a little easier. Any Ideas?

I'm a programmer too. Glad to meet another one, it gets really hard to know other sharing the same hobbies/jobs.
I don't know too much about C++. I do have programmed in plain C and right now beginning with C# as similar languages. VB is another one I know a lot, and also I'm working on a Visual FoxPro project in my job. A little assembler too.
I would join your community that would be great. Please share projects and opinions so we can exchange!!

Hey, I will then add you as a friend on mylot... I am currently busy with a webpage for my programming community. The design is basicly a city where people get to level up and rank up a character.
Im not going to go into too much detail here because 1. it would be spam, and two. It could hurt the success of my page if someone else stole my idea, My website is online but registration is locked till the end of the month.
And I want to make it as fun as possible, so I will also have a few 'Special Events'. And competitions.

i am a c++ programer not professionally am a student now my degree not compleated yet but the c++ subject was completed last year i know how to write write program and procedures how ever be friends share our knowledge each other

Hey, I am unsure for the time being where my projects will go. I know that there is some things that you can do easier in java than in C++. I just dont have projects running in java as the only java knowledge I have has to do with web pages.
Maby once I am settled a little more I will expand the language barrier. To answer your question on the C++ part. The one project I gave now is assigning a sound to a variable to create a text to speech program. I already have a completed version and it sounds like a robot. So I got this idea of starting a community where programmers can learn from eachother.
I dont really need help with one thing in general. I am just thinking bout the future a little bit.

i am currently still learning C++ and all of those kind of things. But i am still a newbie since i just starting a few months ago. Maybe you can create new interest on mylot about programming or creating a forum.

Yeah. I am in a teaching phase now. But I started a .com domain for my research now. So I hope for the best. But I am gna add you as a mylot friend as I am gatthering a few programmers. I do not know everything but I want to be a Expert

Very glad you comented on my post. Will you join my group? I am not going to go out and speak out about too much stuff to the open world now.
But I do believe we could become great assets to eachother in the future.

I am a Senior Computer Science student and although I'm not an expert in C++ I surely want to be one. I'm quite good with Java though. And I like your plan of setting up a community of programmers where we can help each other develop our programming skills.

I have a website in creation. Its a week old but I believe it will be ready to make a community soon. And fun. But it will still take a small while to prepaire. I will tell you when its ready for a beta launch.

Thank you Hatley. I will definately take you up on that. I will email your son and hope for the best. I also have a website. But it is a blog that is hosted by a third party so it doesn't really count. And it is still new. I wil definately tell him.
