...yeah, i do in my inbox and hundreds more in my bookmarks folder- maybe they even reached a thousand now. I don't know how it became this many- I just wanted to answer them later then I began answering new discussions and bookmarking more and more discussions i want to answer later.. ANd i kept the discussions I want to answer in my inbox too. I don't even know where to start answering now. Ever had this experience before?

hi lady oh yes been there and done that twice.First Feb.15th I fell face down on the tiled floor here in the hall, broke my nose , blacked my eyes and sent me to rehab hospital for 20 days as I twisted my poor right knee so badly I could not walk. they really helped me there but I did not get back on mycomputer and on mylot til March 4 then I had 500 email notifications so okay. the next morning my roommate went to the er and came back as they called me downstairs. she had the shingles and was in
quarantine so 14 days later I came back to my room and my email 1245 emailss all from mylot. I tried to catch up but finally deleted the oldest ones and almost now have caught up to the most current. I felt
so bad as i wanted to be able to respond to all of them but I just
could even begin to catch up.So I am sure all your friends here will
understand if you just do the most current ones.Rest assured you are
not alone in this at all. good luck and God bless hugs from Hatley

Hatley, i hope you feel better soon and you fully recover very soon. i am sure it hurt a lot. be more careful next time.
lady1993,
well although i don't have that much discussions that i started, sometimes i can't even reply to them because i always enjoy responding to other users' discussions hehehe. i am sure you have a lot because you have made a lot of discussions already. maybe you can answer some like for example 10 responses a day, just for an example hehehe.
take care both of you

hello lady,
It's been months maybe 4 months since i lost my notification.
So,you can imagine how tiring and tidious for me to scan all those responses that i received from my discussion.
So,the first thing that i do each time i open mylot is check my started discussion and try to comment back all responses.
With those topics that i participated with other mylotters i admit i am not able to track down every single topic ,but if i can get to check with those "responded' topic,i still manage to check if i got a comment from the topic starter and will give comment back again.
I always try to do things by urgency if i am not out for many days.
have a good day

I never allow discussions to collect or store them.Everyday i go through all the fresh discussions in my inbox, respond to those which catch my fancy and simply delete those which i don`t want to answer. I know for a certainity that if i store or bookmark any of them for future i will never be able to answer any of them since i am on my pc just for 2 hours daily. If i happen to miss a particular day for some reason then i delete all the previous discussions and only look at the new ones.

With most of my friends''notify'being off, my inbox is spared from flooding. I go to the home page and there I pick and choose whatever topics I am interested in. I even visit pages of those I feel may have interesting topics even those who are not on my friends' list. I can well imagine your plight.

Start by giving yourself a quoata each day. Lets say, commit to yourself that everyday you will answer 2 discussions. And make sure you do it.

I have thousands of unanswered mails and still not deleted single. I not check my inbox daily or monthly but check yearly so no chance of deleting.
