Guys, I need your help... AND CREATIVITY. I really want to surprise my mom this coming Mother's Day. More than just the traditional greeting, what are the unique things that I and my sibling can do for our mom? Help please. :D

Speaking as a Mom, I have to say the Mothers Day 'gift' I treasure the most over the years was the year my teens made this little booklet for me. The booklet was decorated by themselves and had heartfelt appreciations of all the things they loved about me, and the things I did for them. That little decorated booklet is about 20 years old now, and means more to me than any knick-knack I ever got lol. It was filled with pure love, and coming from kids in their teens it meant doubly more. How about a double heart necklace that she can wear all the time, or one that holds a picture of the two of you? Or, a photo of you two siblings along with your Mom in a nice heart shaped frame? Oh, another one that I hold dear was a photo of my two girls, and the photo holder is one of those where the giver can record a little message. Mine has the picture of the two of them, and when I press the little button it has them saying (in unison) We Love You Mom. No matter how far away they are, I still cherish the message if I want to hear their voices. I'm sure your Mom will be thrilled with anything because it's given with love!

i think anything that shows your mom how much you appreciated her over the years will do. here is a cheap but labour intensive idea. get and decorate a tin or a jar, then on strps of paper (you will need 365 - one for each day of the year) you could write down special memories or something funny or why you appreciate her. she will treasure it forever!

It's hard to help without knowing more about your Mother. For me, the thing I enjoy most is help around the house and yard. One of the greatest gifts is when one of the kids volunteers to help with heavy garden chores, or to paint a room or fix something. Think of something your mother has mentioned that needs doing and it might be just the thing to make her happy if you do it.
